We were given a room key room 401 the room was not clean and the bed was messed up and this was at 7 pm. I went back to the office and she handed me a key to 406 but I said can I have a ground room because I have a amputation on my left leg. She said no because of the plan I paid for and they have no elevator so I had to carry my bags up the stairs. Then some parts of the hotel doesn't have uneven foot with yellow paint. ADA should check this hotel. Very unhappy with this service

Staff at check in was good. Although they gave us a premium room, outside there was trash all over. Uneaten food in styrofoam container. Figured it would be picked up next day. NO!!!! Blood on sheet. Breakfast staff tried hard but she really didn’t have a clue how to keep up. Felt for her. Hard to get competent help. We are Diamond at BW. Never had a problem. Do not allow this place to stay under the BW name!!!

This place is awesome! I needed an inexpensive hotel for two nights as my company was not reimbursing me this trip. I am so glad that I stayed here. I was in the back building on the 2nd floor. You have to lug your stuff up as there is no elevator, but that was okay. Please do not be disillusioned by the condition of the stairwell ... once you get into your room, you will be amazed. The rug looked new and the walls looked freshly painted ... or maybe it was just super clean! It was well appointed ... had everything and the lighting in the room was good. I had recently stayed at a big chain hotel in Victorville and it was sub par compared to this hotel. I hope to work in the Twentynine Palms area again and will definitely stay here! Oh, Christina and Ginger were very nice ... went above and beyond. Give this place a try ... you won't be disappointed!

Best Western Platinum means we see a lot of these hotels. Service was great, I actually had wrong night and didn't realize til last minute. The gal at the desk switched us. Everyone there was nice. Outside of building needs a pressure wash ( pigeons and tired looking), kept finding doors to outside propped open. Room was clean, carpet smelled new or cleaned. All fixtures were pretty darn old, a lot of things loose, shower needs replaced. TV was fine, breakfast adequate.

I booked my reservation months in advance and was promised a better room than I had in December 2023. I called the hotel saying we would arrive at night. "No worries we will hold your room" the desk gal said. (a blonde young girl) I was quoted one rate and charged a much higher rate! We arrived and they gave away our room. We got the same room (where nothing works) that we had last December! Every time we had to go to the front desk there would be a long line of guests angry at the check in process and reservations getting mixed up. Blondie is disorganized! The Black gir in the early monring JUST ROCKS AT BOOKING! Room did not look clean. Very skimpy on towels and toilet paper. Our key had to be rekeyed SIX TIMES during our two night stay. It's not relaxing to keep going to the front desk to keep getting rekeyed. FEW movie channels, AC did not work strong, shower was broken, could not turn it on.Since I had a long series of dental work in Yucca Valley we have stayed here 10 times. Under OLD management it was always great but not now! Spend a little more and stay at a different Hotel.
