Fooled by pictures on the website! Nothing like what you see online!!!! DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL!!!
Booked this hotel 2 months in advance with an excitement I haven't felt in a year because of the whole COVID pandemic. I haven't travelled since 2019 and to be able to travel again within the US was a special treat for my family and I.
We visited my parents in Vegas and then decided to take a short road trip to Lake Havasu Arizona. This hotel was a treat for ourselves because of the views and the small luxury it had portrayed on the website. Unfortunately the marketing of this hotel online was spectacular because I was definitely FOOLED! The pictures of the rooms looked beautiful but when we got our "suite" it looked so depressing and just FILTHY!!! We arrived at 1:00pm and the woman checking us in said we were early and because of COVID they do a deep cleaning of the room. We totally understood and decided to get some lunch and sightsee around the town.
4:01pm, finally got to check in and was beyond excited to get settled and enjoy the rest of the night. We were given the suite on the 1st floor overlooking the lake...the view didn't disappoint but as soon as we walked in the "suite", my smile immediately fell off and my face was just shocked ! The room was dark, carpet was dark, toilet and shower were in a closet size room and double sinks were in the middle of the room which I guess makes this a suite because it divided the room from the couch area. The inside of the fridge was cleaner than the bathtub. I mean I can go on and on.
We booked this room for two nights and I couldn't last more than 1 night in this room. I requested to cancel my second night and I am STILL WAITING for the manager to reach out. Staff are fake nice to the minorities and are super helpful and attentive to everyone else. I immediately sensed this "fake" niceness to my husband and I when we were checking in, but I said let me not let the ignorance and discrimination of small-minded people affect my vacation. But unfortunately reality hits you in the face even when your trying to just focus on the beautiful scenery. We paid close to $500 something for the two nights, Holiday Inn or Motel 6 wound have been way cleaner and probably more updated in today's time with the rooms.
So overall I'm laying on my comforter I brought from my mom's house because I refuse to lay on their dirty bedsheets that probably wasn't changed and just fixed to look like it was, waiting for the manager to call me back. I'm checking out today and I will NEVER come back to this depressing and disgusting resort!

Although we only stayed one night, we found the place to be relaxing, accommodating and comfortable. Right on the Lake with a nice sandy beach and large heated pool with tiki bar. The on-site Turtle Bar had great drinks with a commanding view. All three meals are available if you want but it’s only about a mile or two to other restaurants in town or near London Bridge. We would definitely stay here again! The view from our room is attached.

Great Location and Resort
Stayed at The Nautical in early March, 2020. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They let us check in at 11:00 am since they had an available room! Yes, the room we had was older (and less expensive than the others), but it was clean and comfortable. The view from the room was extraordinary, the pool was amazing, and the pool bar was reasonably priced. Enjoyed ourselves - wished we could have stayed longer.

PAST ITS PRIME
This is a great location with a nice pool and good beach area. Now full disclosure....we were only here for 1 night so I would imagine that you might enjoy all the amenities a bit more if you are truly vacationing here especially if you have access to a boat. I think boating is key if you are visiting Lake Havasu City. The room was kind of dated. Needs some sprucing up. We got a good rate so can't complain....$152. pre peak March rates I believe.

Wonderful, relaxing week in Lake Havasu
Traveled to Lake Havasu to meet our cousins for a week of sunshine. With the Covid-19 restrictions in place they could not "service" our room. The "text" when you need something was genious! I never waited more than 30 minutes for towels, TP, garbage bags, etc to be delivered. Ice was available (at no cost) each day. We rented jet skis and a pontoon boat right at the resort. We had such a great time and will definitely come back.
