I had a poor experience there. Should go into detail but won't at this time. It was a popular Spring Break hangout but lacked any decent security of supervision. Very party atmosphere. It may be better now.

Very Overpriced and rooms not as pictured
Written on behalf of clients by travel agent- Hotel was wildly overpriced for the quality of the resort. Outdated, dark, dirty rooms with thin walls and dogs barking all night. Pool was closed for construction- clients chose this resort for the pool- and there was no notice at booking or even when checking into the hotel that it was closed. Also very understaffed as clients tried to get service at restaurants, ice cream shop, and concessions and ended up leaving after waiting up to 20 minutes for someone to serve them. The beach area was the only area of the resort that was satisfactory to clients. I have seen that they are planning to undergo remodeling but the price should have reflected that.

Dirty, shabby old overpriced
Room was old shabby and dirty. Looked like a young kid tried to remodel it in the 90’s maybe. The pool was down for construction but no mention of it at booking time. The beach was occupied by an obnoxious boat with a stereo that drove us and others off the beach but management didn’t intervene .
We waited to check in for 10 minutes while several people saw us but couldn’t help us. Not a nice place to stay.

The hotel is setting in the lake was quaint, beautiful, peaceful, and the staff was very kind and helpful.
Our room balcony faced the lake, it was a beautiful sunset as well as a great view of the boats.
It was a refreshing visit, simple, beautiful, great little beach. . .

Our stay was memorable in that in over 50 years of travel staying in motels/hotels, our room (317) was the worst EVER!!! It was so dark and unwelcoming. It was definitely not a room on your website. The odor was extremely unpleasant and could not be mitigated by the spray I asked a hotel employee to spray. She also unclogged the sink (it wouldn't drain) and the phone would ring but when I picked up, no one was there and I was not able to call the front desk. We bought a candle to help with the smell but to no avail. If we hadn't been tired from traveling and hauling our luggage from the parking lot down to our lower room and feed our dog, we would have and should have requested a change of rooms. Even with all of the lights on it was hard to read. Everything was SO old and way over priced. When I booked the room for access to Lake Havasu for our dog, my husband and I both thought the price would be justified. It was not. It was smelly, dirty looking, old and needed a HUGE upgrade. The sheets were even wrinkled like somone had slept in them so we slept in our clothes. We were so excited to stay there and ended up so disappointed we couldn't wait to leave. $57.39 for a one night stay for a pet!!! Ridiculous. The view was nice but the grounds were under reconstruction and the pool was closed and we weren't told. We will not be back and certainly not recommend staying there to anyone.
Alex, the young woman who booked our room and checked us in was great as was Jessica who helped with the spray and sink.
