My husband and I stayed at Hotel Seward in the summer of 2023. It is a small, charming and very clean hotel in the center of Seward. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. My husband has Parkinson’s Disease. When he became ill, the staff went above and beyond to make sure we were ok. I highly recommend this hotel and would stay there again without hesitation!

This historic hotel is designed as their name alludes to. It's a great location to walk a block or two to restaurants, bars, the waterfront, etc. We chose a room with a private bathroom. The rooms are pretty small and the space in the bathroom limited, but we made do utilizing the space for all our luggage. We enjoyed the small restaurant and bar on site, and the bartender was 5 stars.. a sweet gal from Pennsylvania now residing in AK and expecting her first baby...Best wishes!

I stopped by the hotel bar for a relaxing drink and a snack and was impressed by the friendly service, good wine list and tasty food - so much so that I came back the next night! Allie deserves a special mention for being such a fun host, as well as being attentive to everyone's needs!

This hotel had paper thin walls. I could everything from the people next door and when they bumped the wall, I could see it move. Crumbs in depots, first marks on wall, dead bugs in light fixture, ceiling tile was Old TV, no fridge, no coffee, shared bathroom and shower was open to all guests, restaurant and staff. And way overpriced. I paid 202.

Very Noisy

This place was noisy. To get any air circulation you have to open the windows resulting in a lot of noise from foot and street traffic. Thin walls on top of that. Being old the floors really creak so our room was VERY noisy from the people staying above us. I thought there was a herd of cattle up the for as much noise as there was. Lots of door slamming in addition to the other noises. Quite hour is supposed to start at 10pm but no way that happened. Maybe staying on the top floor is the way to go. The place was just too noisy and disrupted our sleep. Staff members were pleasant. 24 hour coffee in the lobby.
