We hadn't planned on staying in Moab, but the hour was late and the weather uncertain. We made our reservation and showed up a few minutes later. The office staff was welcoming and the room was clean, comfortable and attractive. Breakfast was generous with lots of choices and the dining area staff was pleasant and helpful. The dining area was attractive and we plan to return when it is warmer as the views from the outside dining area are tremendous. We felt fortunate to find a vacancy on such short notice. I suspect reservations well in advance would be needed during the summer tourist season.

Friendly staff, great value in off season

I've stayed here before and this is my favorite hotel in Moab. All staff members I had contact with were friendly and helpful, which gives me the impression that they are well treated by the owners. Many of the rooms are located in quiet wings of the building away from the main street. This hotel, like most in Moab, is an excellent value off season as long as one doesn't mind hiking or biking in colder temperatures. Better than summer heat in my opinion! Breakfast is above average for a Best Western Plus. The hotel offers a nice secure bike storage room in the basement.

We were served well by Morgan in the front desk who was efficient, helpful and exercised her ability to upgrade us to a 2nd floor King bed for no extra charge overlooking the pool as the first floor had many students who were constantly chatting. This encouraged us to extend our stay to almost a week, then we had to move on to our next destination. The room and bed was clean and spacious. Decent warm breakfast with bacon and eggs, The female Spanish staff was polite, friendly and attentive at breakfast. They were also installing a safe in each room, one of the front desk staff accommodated us by having a safe installed early in our room. A safe offers such peace of mind for out of town travellers! Overall it was great value. This will be the hotel we stay in when we return to Canyonland. Granny smith apples, and cookies served in the lobby were great bonuses as well.

Very nice hotel. Well run, clean, friendly staff, good continental breakfast, awesome hot tub. My family and I will likely stay here again next time we come to Moab. The cost was very reasonable for how nice the hotel was.

This was Christmas day that we checked in so I suppose the staff was short-handed and those there really didn't want to be, but I was very disappointed in our stay. Pros: clean hotel Cons: No TV - (with it being christmas, there were not many other options outside of the hotel) That night when we first called, we were told direct TV had problems but they would reboot the system to see if that would help. Nothing. The next morning when I called, another individual said they didn't even know our room was without TV--only some of the rooms had TV. Come to find out, the hotel needed a replacement part from Direct TV to fix the hotel system. Bed was ok but really too soft. Had to go down to breakfast a second time because they needed to cook more food. Eating area was very tight. There is more seating outside for the warmer months, however.
