Great location & Staff
Arrived for a quick one-night stay to see Zion in the winter. Front desk staff were friendly and accommodating. Allowed an early check-in at 11:00 am. Room 202 facing the canyon was spacious, clean and comfortable. Shower had plenty of water pressure. Quite night's sleep and early breakfast at ~6:30 AM. One of the better budget freebie fares - eggs, sausage, biscuits/gravy, cinnamon rolls plus all the usual.

Great location, facilities and exceptional staff
We are a family of 4 from Australia that completed a self driving holiday through Nevada, Utah and Arizona in December 2018. We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express for 1 night when visiting Zion National Park after travelling up from Las Vegas.
The hotel is easy to find (just off main Blvd) and a short drive to the National park. Facilities were modern with a welcoming reception and common area which opened to great views of the mountains. Our room was spacious and clean and had a kitchenette which was great for a family. There were modern laundry facilities (washer and dryer) in our accomodation block, which allowed us to do some washing.
The front desk staff during our stay provided exceptional service, particularly the lady from Ireland (can't recall her name, sorry) who was very informative on the local area, happily provided change for the laundry, and ensured we enjoyed hot cocoa and choc chip cookies around the fireplace in the common area (something we don't get to experience back home). Facilities also included a swiming pool and hot tub but we didn't use these.
There is a 'Sports bar and grill' located just next door to the Hotel which is very convenient. He had dinner there and found it to be a good atmosphere and reasonably priced, local brew was a nice drop.
All in all one of the top overnight stays of our trip and would highly recommend.

Best HIE I've ever stayed at.
I've been either a Platinum or Spire Elite IHG member the last four years, and the vast majority of my stays are at HIE.
This is the nicest HIE I've ever stayed at. The hotel's exterior looks quite nice. Parking is ample and easy. The check-in staff was efficient, friendly, and helpful.
The hotel's interior is in excellent repair, and our room was spotlessly clean. The bed was comfortable, furniture was in good repair, the bathroom was nice, and the shower was hot with good pressure. Housekeepers were prompt and friendly.
Breakfasts were very well-managed; despite being busy, they did not run out of food and the dining area stayed clean.
The outdoor pool was understandably closed because it's winter, but the hot tub was open. It was well-maintained and the area was clean.
The views are breathtaking.
The owners, management, and employees should all be proud of this hotel. It is an excellent value in Springdale and if we decide to return to Zion in the next few years, we will stay here. Our Zion adventure was delightful in no small part because our lodging was superb.

I’ve stayed at several Holiday Inn Express’ before, and this was by far the best one. The views are incredible (but all the hotels in the area have great views.) Nice pool area with fire pit. Patios with seating. It really feels like a mountain lodge not a chain hotel. The staff is polite and helpful. The best part was the breakfast. The selection was amazing. They had everything you could possibly need to fuel a day full of hiking. I can’t wait to go back to Zion and I’ll most definitely stay here again.
