We came in town to spend Thanksgiving with our children and grandchildren. We always stay at the Quality Inn in Luray while here because it’s always clean, comfortable and reasonably priced. The owners and staff are very friendly and helpful. We love this place!!

Pros and Cons
Pros: Close to local businesses, gas stations, department stores, Luray cavern, Shenandoah National Park entrance. Very near to local hospital. Room was clean. Covid restrictions were adhered to. Great TV quality. Air conditioning unit looked new. Attached restaurant was good choice for breakfast and reasonably priced. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Good value for the price.
Cons: Close to railroad tracks. Train came through in morning & evening. Local Fire/Rescue department had siren that sounded whenever there was a call (of course, motel couldn't help that). There were tiled sidewalks that became dangerously slick when wet from rain. Our "next door neighbor" had a nasty cough which we heard day & night for 4 days. That being said, apparently the walls were pretty thin. Tub was clean but coating was chipping off.
All in all this is not a bad place to stay. If we travel that way again, would definitely consider staying there.

my room was the cleanest of all the Quality Inns, that i have stayed in. it was nice having a restaurant next door,
the heater was quiet for a hotel room. our room had been remodeled & the room was clean. clean carpet, awesome shower head. staff was pleasant there is a restaurant next to the lobby. they give 20% off your breakfast. it was nice having a hot meal, instead of grab & go, or continental breakfast. a person can get some protein, to start their day.

The room was nice, but the bed was hard and I couldn't get comfortable. The TV remote didn't work which was frustrating, to have to keep getting up. All in all it was a decent stay as we were just passing through.

Luray VA review
Nice enough place with helpful people all around. Getting a little worn and could use freshening up but livable. The little cafe attached to motel has pretty good food at very reasonable prices. Good nightly rates make this motel a bargain if you are expecting to spend most of your time out and about.
