Nice hotel in quaint town of Luray

I had read some negative reviews for this hotel & hesitant about staying but we were limited with options for the one night visiting Luray Caverns with our grandchildren. I was pleasantly surprised to find it exceptionally clean and appeared to be recently renovated. We had two adjoining rooms and both were great. If you are looking for the Ritz Carlton, this is not it but it is a very nice place to stay in this quaint town. The restaurant joining the hotel had a great breakfast and very reasonably priced. I much preferred this to the buffet type breakfast especially with Covid.

Liked · the fact that the car was parked right outside the room door. The front desk clerk on the afternoon of Apr 13th was very polite. Even when I had lost the slip of paper that had the password for WiFi and I had to ask for a 2nd one. It also is not far from the Luray Caverns and the drive from the hotel to meet up with Interstate 81 is nice. The hotel does have its own restaurant , but it is not open for dinner, only for breakfast and you get a slip at check in for 20%off. Breakfast at the hotel was good and reasonable priced. Disliked · Has nothing to do with the hotel, but the pizzeria right next door to the hotel is closed. We asked about places to eat and the clerk told us that there was a deli a few blocks up from the hotel. We checked that out only to discovered that it was shut down. We ended up ordering a pizza from Dominos, Which for a small pizza of 6 slices was over priced.

Good hotel at price. We paid $80 for one night. Good location. Reasturant on site and another next door. Close to Shenandoah Natl park and skyline drive. Very close to Luray caverns. Don't expect a 5 star hotel, but a good choice for a short stay at a reasonable rate.

A little off the beaten path, but worth staying there. Resturant next door. Would go there again. Stayed one night on our way back from Florida. Very close to Luray Caverns. Nice place for a decent price.

Just passing through. Looking for a decent room with a hot shower and a comfortable king bed. I would stay here again. Luray is a short drive from the interstate. Stay here and support small town America...
