We absolutely loved it here and can't wait to visit again! The cabins are absolutely beautiful, built with the utmost care and comfortability for their guests. They have everything that you need in them-comfy furniture, nice kitchen area and very comfy bedrooms and beds. It was very clean, and very private, which we really enjoyed. There is also an outdoor hot tub, but we did not use it. The location was perfect for us, because we were driving from Yellowstone Park up to Bozeman, and wanted to stay one night just outside the park. This got us away from all the park traffic, and all the tourists in West Yellowstone, which is what we were looking for. It is in a beautifully wooded area that is quiet and private. There are good restaurants nearby, but you could also pick up food and comfortably eat in your cabin, too. We hated to leave the cabin, we were so comfortable there. One of the best things about the Pines is the owners. They are wonderful people who run a terrific place. They are so knowledgeable about the area, so responsive to every need, and so friendly, it was truly a pleasure to meet them and stay at their cabins. Whenever we are anywhere even remotely in the area again, this is the only place we would consider staying.

The hot tub was hot! 104 degrees. The wifi well-connected. The hosts were very accommodating and friendly. The cabin was clean and maintained well. Very good travel experience for us. The other guests were happy to be there and told us where they were from and some of the things they were doing. Close to Yellowstone and Mesa Falls.

We had a great stay at our cabin at the Pines at Island park. We got a 2 bedroom, 2 bath for our family of 4 & it was perfect! There was an upstairs loft with 2 beds, a living area with sofa & a bathroom. The main level had a fully equipped kitchen, living room, dining area, 2 bedrooms & a bathroom with washer & dryer. The location is about 35 minutes from the West Yellowstone entrance, but it was worth the extra driving time for the size of the cabin, as compared to a much smaller room for the same price closer to the park. The place is pretty remote, so I would recommend buying groceries before arriving. There was something familiar about staying here looking through the high ceiling window, as the appeal of a cabin in the countryside is something I have always envisioned & it must be even more beautiful in the winter. I really loved staying at this place & would recommend it to anyone looking for a spacious place for a fair price near Yellowstone.

We enjoyed our time at the Pines. The staff was so accommodating and helpful with travel tips. it is a lovely place where all the pine trees provide for privacy. The hot tub was well maintained and so fabulous after a day of snowmobiling or snow shoeing. I highly recommend.

The Pines at Island Park is a small cabin community that offers an awesome experience for people visiting Yellowstone. It's about a 40 minute drive to the West Entrance, but outside of camping or staying inside the park, you can't do much better. Dana set us up in a 2 bedroom cabin, where we had an awesome hot tub, and plenty of room to spread out for our 6 people. The cabin was stocked with necessities like toilet paper and laundry detergent. They even lent us their can of bear spray while staying there. They have Dish Network TV, just FYI. The fireplace came in handy for the snowy night we had, my only caution would be for those with small babies, there's no real good way to keep them from using the stairs and they also didn't have any cribs, so you'll have to bring your own. We simply bought a pack and play from target on our drive in and returned it at the end of our trip.
