NO HOT WATER, given excuses that they just opened. With several reservation this hotel should have checked out everything. Cold outside and cold shower don't mix well. Too many freaking excuses. 100 degrees water doesn't get anywhere in this size building in 8 hours.

The hotel is very unique - our room was quaint with a small kitchen and bathroom. Perfect for us and our two children - 13 & 11 years old. The bunk bed was a tad small for our 13 year old. He left his glasses behind and the staff was wonderful - they located them and mailed them to us. Great location with respect to food and the entrance to the park.

Misrepresented and poor communication
I had a reservation for the Yellowstone Park Hotel for July 6-8. I had seen the reviews and photos and was excited to stay there,it was a newer construction hotel so our allergies should have been good. The day before we were supposed to arrive I received an email saying that they transfered our ressie to the Gray Wolf Hotel. I tried calling the 2 phone numbers on their website and spend over 30 minutes on hold and never reached anyone. I wanted to cancel our hotel without penalty. The hotel didn't have a last minute change, I found out the hotel hadn't been open in months and they let me reserve the room and didn't inform me of the change until right before so I couldn't make any changes. When I checked into Gray Wolf, it was obvious they have remodeled an old 80's type motel but it still had the allergies I expected of an older place. No breakfast at all (we had grab and go at all the other hotels during our stay, but they didn't offer anything!), no amenties. The hotel room had a decent, older looking room but was not super clean. The wifi worked about 10% of the time, I asked for help with that and they said well it isn't that reliable. Bait and switch! FYI I did check rates at other places for our dates and if I could have cancelled there was plenty availability in West Yellowstone for similar or slightly less. avoid this company!

Exceptional Explorer Cabins
We were very pleasantly surprised to find these adorable cabins in downtown West Yellowstone. Great concept. They are decorated very tastefully, nice gas fireplaces, cute kitchenette with granite counters. They thought of everything, down to the s’more fixin’s for the outdoor gas fire pits. Loved this place.
Shout out to Eric and Taylor at the front desk for their exceptional service.
