It was a quiet and peaceful apartment just a little over 2 miles from the Fall River entrance. The interior was rustic, maybe a little bit too dark. Gas fire šŸ”„ place included. The only thing weā€˜ve missed was an oven with a cook field. Internet speed was perfect. Weā€˜d come back when visiting Estes Park.

Thank You Aspen Winds - Wonderful Stay!!

Wow says it allā€¦ We have been to Estes Park so many times during the 30 years we have been married and this time decided on Aspen Winds at Fall River for our anniversary stay. I added the Rendezvous package and from the moment we walked into our Spa Room (#12) until the time we sadly had to leave two days later, we felt pampered and loved by our hosts. So many details were considered by the owners- local coffee in the room, scented additive for the spa bath, extra essentials like lotion, shampoo, conditionerā€¦.. The cleanliness and comfort of our room was second-to-none. The bathroom was ā€œsparklingā€ clean and the bed- oh my, how comfortable! The kitchenette was loaded with more than I would consider ā€œbasicsā€ and included an air fryer / toaster oven, coffee pot, toaster, microwave, and refrigerator with freezer. While the room has a Smart TV, we didnā€™t even turn it on the entire time we were here because we were entertained by our beautiful back porch that faced the creek and the many Elk visitors that strolled through each afternoon. I truly cannot say enough GREAT things about this location and the staff here. Each and every time I stopped at the office to ask a question, grab some ice, or during check in, I was met with the friendliest folks. It is obvious that you are at a different type of accommodation than you are used to when you are met with genuine kindness and helpfulness with no rush in trying to move you on for the next guest. This will be our new destination each and every time we return to Estes Park- it is outside the hustle and bustle of town and very near the National Park entrance. A big THANK YOU to Aspen Winds at Fall River for making our 30th Anniversary so special!

We loved our stay at Aspen Winds on Fall River! We stayed in a lower level King Spa Suite which was just perfect for the 2 of us and just a few steps from Fall River. This included a small kitchenette which had a microvave, toaster oven, small fridge and a coffee maker. We had a small patio, and a swing by the river that was just perfect for an evening to watch the sunset and listen to the river. We opened the windows to keep our unit cool enough on the July/August days. Nights were cool and comfortable. We saw rabbits and a turkey with her babies, and one deer on the property, but had to go into the park to see Elk and Moose (which were abundant!) We completely enjoyed Aspen Winds on Fall River. I would highly recommend this place to our friends and am trying to see if I can plan a family trip with kids and grandkids next year!

We loved our stay at Aspen Winds on Fall River! The privately owned lodging is the perfect size for a couples or family visit to the Colorado Rockies. Phil gave a warm greeting at check-in and explained the procedures for obtaining clean towels and getting rid of trash -- easy and practical. We stayed in unit #4 -- an upper level one-bedroom unit just a few steps up from the parking lot. The one-bedroom units are the perfect size for a relaxed visit. Just inside the door, the living room/kitchenette is on the river side of the building with a small balcony for relaxing and listening to the sound of the river. The bedroom is on the parking lot side of the building. The limited number of units means minimal noise as guests leave and arrive in the evenings and mornings. Between the living room and bedroom is the split bath; we found it convenient for both of us getting ready each morning. I originally wanted to book a unit with a full kitchen, but the kitchenette turned out to be perfect for our 4-night stay. The small refrigerator was a good size for our cold foods, and it even had a small freezer compartment. We never did use the toaster/oven, but we used the microwave every day. The kitchen is stocked with dishes, glasses, flatware, knives, and can opener and other items for meal preparation. I had brought many supplies with us, but the kitchenette was so well supplied that I only had to unpack our food. We opened the windows in the comfortable living area to hear the sound of the flowing river outside. With the bedroom window also open, the outside air flowed freely through the unit aided by the ceiling fans and floor fan to keep our unit cool enough on the June days. Nights were cool and comfortable without the need for as much air flow. We enjoyed the TVs in the living room and bedroom for evening relaxation. I looked for elk whenever we sat on the balcony, but our timing did not match the elk timing. We did enjoy watching another guest fish one evening. Words are too meager to describe how much we enjoyed Aspen Winds on Fall River. I wish we lived close enough to visit every year. I'm already recommending it to friends.
