My fiance and I had a wonderful stay at Aspen Winds. The view, the energy, the jet tubs... So. Good. We even extended our stay. The first room we were in was #8 and it was perfect for us. We really enjoyed the fireplace and the room set up. The kitchenette was plenty for our needs. When we extended our stay we moved to room #17. The set up was different than #8, but great also. The jet tub was next to window in this room which allowed for a great view of the snow falling while relaxing. Dot and the staff were very accommodating. We will definitely stay again!

We spent a few nights in Estes Park on our way to Wyoming. We stayed at Aspen Winds based on the reviews we saw. We were not disappointed. The staff was amazing! The room was so clean and cozy. I wish we would could have stayed longer. We had Elk roaming on the grounds and took fantastic photos. Now that we know about this wonderful getaway we will return. We are planning a trip with extended family already for next year! Thank you for the wonderful memories.

I'll stay nowhere else

This place is past town and all the uproar of people. It's almost right at the entrance to RMNP. There was little light pollution, you could see the stars! My condo was upstairs with a spectacular view of the river and a handsome bull elk. It was number 4, which has soaring ceilings, a nice kitchenette, comfy beds, a great deck with a chair and tables, casement windows and a gas fireplace with a rocking chair in front of it. Oh how I loved it. And the fellow at the front desk (I wish I'd gotten his name) was so friendly and caring. I mean, not just "I hope your room was nice" but actually friendly and caring, like the person you'd want to sit and hang out with. The parking lot is small, so get there early, especially if you have an oversized vehicle. I felt completely safe as a woman traveling alone. I will stay nowhere but there from now on. I'll plan my time around their availability.

This was our second stay at Aspen Winds. We love this place. We stayed in a one bedroom unit on the second floor with a view of the river. Since we were only there one night we did not really utilize the kitchenette but it is well furnished. The bedroom is spacious as is the living area. When I went out on the balcony in the morning there was an elk grazing in the grass in our yard. After a few minutes it was joined by another.

What a wonderful stay we had! We had so much fun we decided to stay another night and the management was so great in helping us move to another room since ours was booked. We also had resident elk on the property, which were so amazing to watch.
