Published Date: Oct, 28, 2024 Travel Date: Oct, 1, 2024 Rating: 1 The front desk was extremely rude - my husband was coming off a 7 day backpacking trip and I had made the reservation, noting in the comments that he would be the one checking in. The front desk person (who said he was the manager) refused to let him check in because the card was in my name, even though I had noted on the reservation that it would not be me checking in and named him by name. He also had his ID, the confirmation number and our rewards number. This individual was on a power kick of some sort, and insisted I talk to him (the clerk) before he let my husband go to his room. My husband handed the phone to him, he refused to talk to me on my husband's phone and said I had to call him on his phone?? I did, he proceeded to rant at me, and tell me he might not even let my husband have a room (that I had already paid for) The whole thing was not necessary, all he asked me was "what is your husband's name" - really? we have the same last name, I noted his name on the reservation, again, just a power kick, I guess he wanted to prove he was tougher than a 74 year old man who was exhausted from backpacking for 7 days. NOT a way to treat customers. I would avoid this hotel.

Published Date: Oct, 25, 2024 Travel Date: Oct, 1, 2024 Rating: 5 We had a very nice room. it was large with a king bed, clean & the bed was very comfortable. They had a good breakfast; everything was hot & fresh. We are planning to return to the area around the end of the year and plan to stay there again. The only time I interacted with the staff was when we checked in & they were very courteous & pleasant.

Published Date: Oct, 15, 2024 Travel Date: Oct, 1, 2024 Rating: 1 The rooms/bathrooms need a deep clean. Desk clerks tried to overcharge us and were rude and condescending. Never apologized for their mistake. Bathroom flooded with sewage water on our last day. It is in a quiet area of the Smokies but stay clear of this motel.

Do to not being able to climb stairs I could not do the second level. No elevator! They refused a refund even knowing I was handicap! If they couldn’t accommodate than at least refund.

Published Date: Sep, 5, 2024 Travel Date: Sep, 1, 2024 Rating: 2 Who was dirty and green after a hot day I wanted to take a slow in the swimming pool after checking went to my room unloaded by love each put my swimming trunks on went down to the pool to realize the pool was Green my last day there in Townsend Tennessee overall a great trip until I get to my room the room was over for air freshen made me feel like it was something they were trying to cover up on top of that the room is very Bland it was clean overall except for their pool was Green very disappointed
