Room was good, service was solid. But we booked a night away together, only to be told when we arrived that the hot tub is “reservation only” 2 people in the hot tub at a time? I thought it was some sort of sick joke? We can eat out with a group of 6 but they aren’t allowing more than 2 individuals in the hot tub at a time? Doesn’t make any sense. (The rest of the night was obviously booked up fully) Would of been nice for them to tell us earlier today when we asked about the hot tub being open, that they had a reservation system in place. Wanted to stay at this specific hotel for the hot tub, ended up not being able to even use it.

A great experience!!!

We booked one of the Suites- it was great!!! Loved the location- walking distance to downtown Banff, The room was great, we are a family of 4 with a young infant. It has a upstairs living room with a kitchenette and a downstairs bedroom with 2 queens. Enjoyed our stay here. Complimentary breakfast was great too

Great stay for our family!

We stayed for two nights at The Fox. We had a premium loft one bedroom suite (4th floor) for two adults and a three year old. It was perfect for us. There were 2 full bathrooms, a bedroom with two doubles, and a king bed in the loft (with its own bathroom). We loved the little balcony too. Every window had black out blinds which we appreciated. Our room was clean upon arrival. It was quiet as well. Staff were all very friendly. We had a staircase right by our room that took you down to the street- very handy! We booked a 25 minute swimming time for the hot pool (Covid rules). The hot pool was open to the outside above and it was snowing on us- so cool! The restaurant attached is Chilis. We ate there our first night and for breakfast before we left. Service was great the night we ate, but breakfast was not. The Fox is close to downtown. Took us about 10 minutes with a stroller. We walked downtown a lot! My advice for dinner and lunch is to make a reservation if you don’t want to wait for a table. Overall, highly recommend!!!

Nice Hotel but don’t plan to swim!

We chose this hotel based on the nice big rooms to accommodate our family, and for the pool. The room did not disappoint! King one bedroom suite had a nice rustic feel, a great size and felt private. Due to Covid restrictions, the pool booking was based on a first come first serve basis at front desk. So by the time we checked in for Saturday, it was all completely booked up for the rest of the weekend by guests who arrived Friday. We had some very upset and disappointed kids :( Otherwise, the hotel was a good walking distance and a great Banff atmosphere, would highly recommend!

Hotel good. But the staff at the reception was rude. Previous evening we reserved our spot for the pool, she asked us to come 10 mins ahead and take the towels and pool key( due to covid). So we went to the reception desk as told, 10-15 mins early. The way the guy spoke was very rude. Tone was awful. Bed comfort just ok. Pool very good. Breakfast was just ok.
