The hotel is great! The room is spacious and well-decorated. The view is great. Checking in and out could both be done online. We went to the hotel during Aug so there were no elks in the view, but definitely plan to come back during Winter to watch all the elks (I heard there will be more than a couple hundreds in the view).

Great location just outside town. The rooms aren't anything special but they were clean and the process was efficient and staff helpful and friendly. We only had two issues. The shower/tub drained very poorly the first night but we reported it and they promptly fixed it. Kudos. The toilet is about 4 inches from the wall and about 18 inches from the vanity in the bathroom. Everything works but there is no straight access to the toilet and someone on the toilet blocks vanity use. Also, we didn't see any elevators so if you are senior or have a disability make sure they book you on the first floor or you will have issues getting your stuff up to the next level.

If you like peace and quiet, comfortable beds, fluffy pillows, spacious room then this is a place for you. 2 miles north of Jackson you get peace and quiet. You cannot hear the other guest in other rooms. The kitchenette is well stocked for a short stay. The rooms are meticulously cleaned. We had to leave early in the morning our first day to get to a horseback ride. I fully planned on doing the dishes from breakfast when we returned, but the staff did them for us! The lotion, liquid soap and amenities were great. I did not expect a small hotel to provide makeup removal pads and makeup washcloths. Extra attention to detail which was appreciated!

We have always wanted to see the Tetons and yellows stone! This was the perfect spot to hang out! As you know Jackson hole is expensive. The elk refuge Inn was reasonably priced! Great location. Very clean . I loved the customer service! I thought I would wake up to elk across the street but not so but otherwise everything was great. The kitchen could have more pot, plates etc but that’s not a dealbreaker. Overall we will stay again and recommend to others!

We loved our stay at the Elk Refuge Inn. The rooms were a great size and clean. The location is perfect and you can’t beat the view. We can’t wait to return!
