My daughter and I stayed at the Elk Refuge Inn for only one night and we wished we could have stayed longer. What a gem of a place!! The view both at sunset and sunrise was amazing, the room cute and welcoming and having a small kitchen was an extra bonus we didn't expect but were thrilled to have. We made some tea and watched the sunset over the mountains in front of the inn. Thank you for providing such a great place to stay.

The Inn is located just outside of the downtown district with an amazing view of the area and is only minutes from the airport. Moonrise and Sunrise fotos. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The gift basket was very special and useful for our hike near the lakes. Bed was most comfortable we’ve ever been in. All the details of the room were noticed and appreciated. Clean and comfy sheets and well made quality towels. We will be back!

A friend and I spent 2 nights at Elk Refuge Inn and to be quite honest, I was pleasantly surprised! We traveled from different locations, so we had 2 vehicles. We stopped by the hotel earlier than check-in time to see if we could leave a vehicle there while we went sightseeing. Ana at the front desk was so kind and welcoming, she not only let us check-in early but gave an upgraded room too! She was very helpful in explaining everything. The hotel is obviously older but seems to be well kept. I was very worried about how comfortable the beds would be, and the traffic noise from the hotel being located on a very busy highway. No worries needed, the beds were super comfortable, and I sleep with a fan, so we heard no traffic noise at all during the night! We had the kitchenette room which is very large, it only had 1 chair and no sofa, so that was not ideal for 2 people. The walk-in tiled shower was nice, with an adjustable head, and lots of hot water! There were plenty of nice towels, with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash located right inside the shower. We were pleasantly surprised to return to the room the on the 2nd day to find the beds made! (You don't get that service in many hotels these days!) The only cons were, the balcony was very dirty, including the chairs and small table, spider webs and yuck out there. The patio door also did not lock, and you could not leave it open because the screen was bent and torn where bugs would get in. We didn't spend much time in the room anyway as we were out soaking in all the beauty the area has to offer. You probably wouldn't spend much time on the balcony anyway with all the road noise! We also liked that the motel is located just a short distance from town, so you can avoid all the noise, traffic and people in Jackson! I would stay here again, if I ever make it back to the Grand Tetons and would love to come in the winter to see all the elk!

Beautiful room and scenery

We stayed here one night on our trip to Grand Teton. It was king bed room. High quality lodging, you could tell they cared about the customer experience. Free snacks in the room and many special little touches. The desk clerk was phenomenal.

Clean, felt comfortable although stayed a night only. Very nice front desk staff, gave extra info regarding places to eat etc. Like the complimentary snack basket. Free laundry/detergent. Great amenities. Like location.
