We loved staying at the Elk Refuge Inn! I am extremely picky with hotel cleanliness and this one got a top notch rating. The rooms were comfortable and well thought out. Upon arrival, we were able to easily park right in front of our room to unpack. The room was absolutely spotless. You walked in and knew it was thoroughly cleaned. The sheets were crisp, towels were clean and the bathroom was spotless. We enjoyed having access to the mini fridge along with the patio to see the Elk Refuge from our porch each morning. The location is SUPREME compared to other hotels- halfway to the park and almost to town but out of the way of all of the busy traffic. Everything about this stay was thoughtful. Complimentary laundry along with soap allowed us to freshen up halfway through our trip. We’re looking forward to our next stay here when we visit in the future.

Excellent place for our family. Good distance from everything we wanted to do in the area. Wonderful attention to detail. The amenities that were offered were considerate and helpful. Helpful signage, instructions, and information in the room made everything easy. We will stay here again!

The Elk Refuge was a wonderful inn with a rustic chic style that complements the wildlife and natural surroundings of Wyoming. Each room provided an amazing view of the National Elk Refuge across the highway, which was a beautiful sight to behold. The modern amenities and smart TV were great features. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the staff was very friendly, offering recommendations for nearby eateries. When we inquired about laundry facilities, we were delighted to learn that they were complimentary and even came with pre-organized laundry detergent and dryer sheets. This was a pleasant surprise! Overall, we will recommend The Elk Refuge to our friends and family, and we look forward to returning in the future!

We really enjoyed the convenience of Elk Refuge Inn! While we didn’t see elk from our room (in July), it was a picturesque morning view! Conveniently located near downtown Jackson, the airport, and GTNP, this was a great stay for the price!

Beds comfortable, room and bathroom very clean, beautiful view. Super easy check in as well - texted room # and door code. So nice for when you’re running behind!
