This beautiful, quiet hotel with friendly staff provided us easy access to the redwoods. We stayed for four nights and enjoyed daily walks in the Great Prairie Redwoods State Park nearby. It was a home away from home for a while.

We were road tripping down the Cali coast, and this was the only hotel in a long stretch so we crashed here. This is a GHOST TOWN, no reception for ATT, only thing opened in a huge stretch of highway is a gas station with fried chicken. We were a bit concerned, shady people, and weirdos walking around the property and around your cars. The good part, was the hotel. The lady upfront that night was AWESOME, very nice and sweet, helped us a lot. Very clean and fresh linens, clean hotel room, comfy bed. This hotel in a diff area, would be very popular, but if in the area, I would stay here.

We stayed here on our way north. It was super quiet because of Covid, the casino was closed and pool was closed. But the hotel is very nice, the employees are very friendly and helpful. The room was clean. We had a 2 queen bed room, it had a fridge & microwave. The bathroom came with makeup remover wipes and the shower had shampoo, conditioner & body wash. It was a quick stay. We did get breakfast in a bag that had cereal & milk, granola bar, yogurt, muffin and water. I guess you got to pick it out and they put it in a bag . We stopped at the gas station and got some breakfast there and the croissant was very good. Oh and go to Trees of Mystery- it was awesome!

Nice, nothing around

Right on the 101. Noise from road, semi trucks woke us up multiple times. Nice room and staff. Following covid restrictions. To go breakfast. Nothing around the hotel. Located around Redwoods National Park. Shady characters in the parking lot. Our car sentry mode recorded 81 events over one night, though no clear damage to the car.

Great bang for the buck

I typically stay at full service hotels, but there was limited options in area. I was very pleasantly surprised. The staff was super nice and helpful, rooms very clean, and location is great. Even though the typical breakfast was closed due to Covid, the front desk staff had lots of breakfast items that were enough for family. I would stay again if in area.
