I stayed here for 5 nights last week, my 13th stay here and 6th since Julie and Dan bought this B&B. They are so hospitable and make it so relaxing and carefree to be here. Breakfast has always been excellent but Julie and Dan keep improving, including a very creative array of delicious homemade breads. At the first morning’s breakfast Julie said ‘I’m sorry that I didn’t make any fresh sourdough this month, but I do have fresh homemade bread. Dan and I have been too busy using all of the produce from our trees and garden!’ It’s a worthwhile trade off as they used their strawberries in fresh pancakes, made tomatillo sauce for the eggs, and made wonderful jams and fresh and baked apple, pear, and plum treats. They love good wholesome food from the best ingredients and love sharing it with their guests. I can’t wait to get back next year.

We enjoyed two wonderful nights. Danny and Julie are wonderful hosts who are sincerely interested in their guests. They are very friendly and helpful. Offering help / suggestions thus making it comfortable for their guests to ask questions. We stayed in the Cabana Room. Beautifully decorated with attention to detail in all aspects. We loved the outdoor porch. Twinkle lights come on at night. There is a great view of their garden which is beautiful. The hammock is very relaxing. Breakfast was delicious. We slept great. Wonderful stay. Wonderful hosts. We look forward to staying again.

Danny and Julie were very helpful when we needed to shift our trip a few months because of COVID-19. We were able to complete our trip in September and they also helped us with staying one night before and one night after, even holding our bags for us. The breakfast (and fresh orange-juice squeezer!) was just what we need and we loved staying next door to our parents and sharing the outdoor patio with them. Loved their little lounge with books and wifi was really good.

We stayed here for two nights and would have loved to stay longer. My husband and I and our 2 adult boys stayed in The Cowboy and The Cabana rooms which shared a lovely outside porch and faced the beautiful back yard. Danny and Julie are exceptional hosts and gave us all kinds of tips for the local hikes and activities. They prepared a delicious breakfast each morning which set us all up for our active days ahead. We can not say enough nice things about this B and B. It is extremely comfortable, quiet, meticulous and a great base for exploring the beautiful Escalante area. We can't wait to return!!

What a lovely bed and breakfast Canyons is. We spent a night in the Cowboy room and enjoyed every moment of it. I highly recommend it. The room was comfortable and the decor was charming - see photos. It had everything one needs for a successful stay. The real draw is the porch where you can sit and enjoy the property. The property features a little sitting area with a hammock. The owners' garden comprises the back part of the place with a pear tree, strawberry patch, and other vegetables and fruits. Guests see this garden bounty in the wonderful breakfast served each morning. The owners are very kind and interesting. We enjoyed chatting with them because it's fascinating to understand the life of a B&B owner in highly-rural Utah. One of the very cool things that came from these chats was advice on taking a dirt "road less traveled" to our next destination. What excellent advice because we saw so many interesting rock formations and ranges. Totally worthwhile. One thing you should do if you stay here is go out after dark and look at the skies. The stars just burst and you can even see the Milky Way. I think anyone would enjoy a stay at this lovely bed and breakfast.
