The best cat in the southwest!

Great place, owners are fantastic and can totally help suggest things to do in case the weather is bad (as it was on my trip from 10-15 March 2020). Breakfasts are excellent - it's nice to see that people still care about the food they offer. The rooms ( I stayed in Cabana) are spotlessly clean and well equipped with a coffee maker and small fridge and if the room doesn't have what you want there is a small hospitality room that has everything else. There is no daily cleaning service because the owners value client privacy so one has total privacy. A cleaning request can be made if necessary. While everything is good about this B&B the owners will hopefully forgive me for saying that the best thing about it is the cat (I'm a cat person as you might suspect). She made my stay that much more enjoyable with her exuberant personality. When I return to Escalante to do more slot canyon exploration I will definitely stay here again.

I stayed at Canyons B & B for the 10th time on a solo hiking trip early in October and again just last week with a good friend from Australia on another hiking trip, each time for four nights. Canyons is extremely quiet, comfortable, and clean, and the hosts -- Julie and Dan - are truly hospitable. Breakfast is terrific and quite filling, with eggs every day (in various forms) and more. Julie keeps coming up with delicious home-made breads, and jams and preserves from fruit grown on site. I love this place!

We stayed one night here and loved it. Julie was very welcoming and we were pleasantly surprised by the clean, warm, very comfortable room (the ‘lodge’). The experience was one of generosity, from the extra heater in the bathroom, the robes, the toiletries, to the excellent breakfast (incredible homemade bread & fresh ingredients) and invitation to pick fruit from the beautiful trees around the property. Canyons really encompasses the best of a B&B experience. Highly recommend a stay if you’re doing scenic route 12 - there’s lots to do in the surrounding area and we wish we’d stayed in friendly, outdoorsy Escalante longer and not in Panguitch which was a less interesting town.

A wonderful place with great hosts, really special and highly recommended.

The best accomodation on my long trip through the Southwest. I planned on staying just a night and ended up staying much longer, that's how much I liked it. Canyons Bed & Breakfast is one of the few places to stay where you can relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The sightseeing recommendations from the owners are very helpful, they got me to some place which are very beautiful (e.g. Singing Canyon, Willis Creek Canyon) and which are difficult to find.

This B and B was awesome. The location was perfect for hiking in Grand-Staircase Escalante National Monument and the hosts had some great recommendations for hikes. The best part was definitely the breakfast. It was fresh, healthy and delicious and provided the boost we need to start our day. Everything else was as expected. Rooms were large and clean, tv and internet were fine and the local restaurant recommendations were great as well.
