I normally avoid B&B's, but was drawn to the fact that each of these four charming rooms have their own outside entrance - a big plus. I planned on 2 nights but ended up staying 6 night in the Lodge room. One big reason: Danny and Julie. If you ask, these wonderful hosts will offer suggestions and advice, much of it off the beaten path and not found in the usual guide books. Canyons B&B turned into a great jumping off point for countless hikes and scenic drives. I highly recommend Canyons B&B!

We spent one night at the Canyons B&B in Escalante on our way between Capitol Reef and Bryce Canyon National Parks. We are so happy we did. What a charming inn. The rooms were spacious and comfortable with all the extras one might need. Check in was easy. We had a wonderful breakfast in the morning with plenty of recommendations of what to do nearby. Will certainly stay here again when we are in Escalante.

We got two rooms for two nights, at a great price considering the competition around town at the time. We got rooms Cowboy and Cabana, which share a deck so for those that need two rooms the setup is perfect. The hosts are amazing (gave us great advice & really nice), breakfast was top notch, and overall it is just simply comfortable. It’s on the beaten path in a good way, as easy to get around to see all the area has to offer, but when sitting in the back area of the B&B it feels quiet & serene. We are already talking about trying to come back out here for a week...not just because the Escalante/grand staircase area is amazing, but also because we really enjoyed our stay. It’s a great location to be in the middle of all the national monument has to offer, but feels relaxing with a great breakfast to start the day and great hosts to give guidance and help with any needs. We are grateful we were able to stay here/found this B&B, and already want to plan a return visit in the near future!

My husband and I recently stayed at this B&B and enjoyed our stay. Hosts Danny and Julie were so nice and helpful. The breakfasts were delicious, room comfortable and grounds were beautifully landscaped. We will definitely stay here again. 5 stars from us.

Fantastic! Worth going out of your way to stay here!

I found the Canyons Bed & Breakfast through an internet search as I was visiting Capitol Reef National Park one day and Bryce Canyon a couple of days later. Escalante, UT is situated almost perfectly between the two parks and the drive is absolutely incredible through the Grand Staircase Escalante - the drive alone on scenic Rt. 12 is worth it. Julie and Dan are amazing hosts as this 4-room B&B that does not feel as claustrophobic as some B&B's I traditionally think of. Each room has an individual entrance, which I very much preferred over the feeling of staying in someone's house. We spent two nights in the Cowboy room and loved it. The furnishings and themes are fantastic and well done! There is plenty of space and you have everything you need, including a fridge. There is a wonderful sitting area on the porch outside the room and an even better sitting area (with a hammock!) in the central courtyard. It was an incredibly relaxing environment with fruit trees around and lots of gardens. Gorgeous flowers everywhere! There's a super sweet cat that makes her rounds and adds to the relaxed atmosphere. The breakfast part of the stay was a real highlight. The owners make an amazing light breakfast and squeezing your own fresh orange juice made it all the more fun. I would go out of my way to return to the small town of Escalante to stay here again. You are worlds away from other places and the stars are amazing at night. It is an enchanting place!
