Very typical US Motel. Clean, comfortable though a bit of a throwback - no real accessible plugs far less anything for 21st century tech. Tip - need to pull beds out and use sockets behind. We received an email saying room had been cancelled at 7PM despite advising reception open till 10PM. Completely unnecessary stress while in transit given room secured by card. Sorted on arrival, room available. Then got an email the following day saying credit card rejected and we would be turfed out by 8PM unless rectified - apparently a mistake related to cancellation. Nice enough place / people friendly and if you check-in before 7, don’t need to plug things in, you’ll be happy. Not sure I’d return if other options in area at similar price given issues above.

Enjoyed a very comfortable 2 night stay here when we visited the area. The room was very clean and tastefully decorated. Good shower. There is a fridge and microwave for those self catering and a choice of restaurants within walking distance if you are not. First stayed here about 8 years ago and would certainly stay again.

This hotel was outside Mt Rainier, but on the way to head to Olympic National Park. The staff was very nice, the hotel was clean, and was within walking distance to food and drinks. The only comment was that you can head the band playing at the Mill Haus Cider place. So if your body is on "EST", 9:00 pm is a bit late for music blasting!

Refreshed hotel with just the basics

This is a two story motel with doors that open to the outside. The room had been freshly painted and newer wood floors. Oddly, it did not include a desk or chair. Spacious room with a lack of outlets for all of todays electronics. You get the basics, TV, Frig, Microwave, WIFI. However, it lacks any other amenities such as breakfast, pool, hot tub, exercise room, laundry. So, if all you need is just a clean, comfortable room, this facility will fill the bill. Not much in the way of near by restaurant choices. Good old country BBQ is what you'll find. Fabulous view of Mt Rainier. Seemed a bit pricey for what they offered.

This was a reasonably priced and pleasant motel near Mt. Rainier National Park. Our double queen room was comfortable, and had what we needed for an our 2 night stay. The young man in reception was accommodating. No breakfast, but there is coffee available in the reception area.
