It was so small in the room. It wasn't super clean. The breakfast was small...in the bag with everything for Covin 19. The evening worker was excellent. The next morning it was not interest happy. Yes, it was really close near the Mt. Rushmore. We were there on the last week of October. Most things were closed. I wish we had spend a couple more dollars and stay just west of where the Ramada is.

Excellent staff and location close to Mount Rushmore. The facility is well maintained inside and out. It was a snowy day and the parking lot and sidewalks were cleared promptly to allow safe entry and exit. Will stay here again.

Need to fire the man at front desk.

Our stay was comfortable and we had no check in issues. The bed was amazingly comfortable and the pillows were so great my husband didn’t mind four on the bed. That said, the other two couples we traveled with had called the hotel direct and prepaid (we went through Wyndham) and had a terrible experience trying to check in. The foreign gentleman at the front desk was quite rude to them and should be fired. Plain and simple. It took hours for the rest of our party to get checked in, and it took a conversation with the general manager to solve the issues. Apparently not enough maids were hired to make sure rooms were cleaned rapidly for check ins. A management fail. There was no daily maid service due to COVID, but it was really no hassle to get extra towels and soap. The parking lot had really tiny spaces, and one car parked so close to one of the motorcycles that the car had to be moved before the bike could be mounted. Management was less than helpful, and the old man in the SUV was hateful. On the flip side, the ladies running the front desk were awesome! Management needs to fire the foreign man from working the front desk. Motel issues are the GM’s responsibility, and if the GM can’t make changes, it’s time for a new general manager.

Park once and enjoy all of Keystone by foot

You'll have to drive to Mount Rushmore and Crazy Horse of course but you are steps away from everything else. Just call the front desk and they will hook you up with the best rate and room situation. They do AAA and AARP and active military along with a bunch more discounts. Honestly, just say "please" give me the nice discount and it could happen. The evening manager stopped everything to help my mom get on wifi so he will always be my favorite!
