Good get away with ocean view. Easy access to Bar Harbor. Remodeled rooms with generally good functionality, except, 1) navy shower head; 2) not much table space. They do provide breakfast snacks, including cereal, gia t muffins, yogurt, milk, juice, coffee, fruits. Despite the shortcomings this place deserves a 5/5 rating, especially given it’s not a hotel chain.

Great location, and spectacular view, but a few downsides. The renovated room we had smelled either of paint, or very strong cleaning product. Water pressure for the shower is very poor, and the shower head is not adjustable. There is no coffee maker in the room (only in the main office).

I would like to know if they made these blueberry muffins in house, or brought'em in from a bakery. They were huge with big blueberries, and they tasted great! And the greek yogurt is one of my go-tos for breakfast, so that was a nice healthy treat as well. Our room was very recently remodeled, completely remodeled (not just a little cosmetics). The shower was a little small, but nothing I couldn't live with for a couple of days. The towels were fluffy and the bedding was just right. The shuttle to free downtown was an added bonus which saved us time and money in parking.

The view was gorgeous, and the staff was helpful. It was close to all the attractions we wanted to see, and we even stayed a second night. We loved sitting out front of our room and meeting others staying at the hotel. The fluffy pillows and comfy beds were definitely worth the stay!!

We were pleasantly surprised. The hotel was recently renovated and very clean. We had a spacious room with two queen beds. The bedding was crispy clean and new comforters instead of usual worn blankets was an unexpected gift. The bathroom was tiny with no self space, but very clean. There is a little refrigerator in the room and continental breakfast is included (Chobani yogurt, blueberry muffins, oatmeal, cereal, etc.). Service is OK and parking is plentiful. To have breakfast on the balcony was blissful. The view of the bay at sunrise and sunset is truly stunning. It would be nice though to have a little table on the balcony or in the room. For some reason many other reviews mention Acadia Pines Motel (horrible!!!), which had no association with Acadia Oceanside Hotel. These negative reviews are not relevant as they are about totally different property.
