CONS - no AC - windows kept coming off the hinges - beds SO hard - hot water heater not sufficient for the jacuzzi tubs they advertise - no green space/very close to the neighbors - no trees for our hammocks - they charge by the person - needed more kitchen towels, but I never asked so maybe they would have been provided? PROS - SO SO SO clean!!!! - very well stocked kitchen- everything I needed, plus a grill and grill tools - very nice to have a washer and dryer and dishwasher available - separate bedrooms for us all was perfect -2 bathrooms was so very nice - very quick to help us with stuff - could borrow movies to watch - felt like home - very close to the park and to town/grocery store - the stream was more of a rushing river with rapids but so very nice to sit by - bathroom towels so nice

Terrible customer service

We booked this hotel for a stay in early May. They sent us an email via hotels.com saying the hotel will be closed for the days of our trip. We made a booking for a different hotel, but the Bear Paw still charging us a cancellation fee for a booking they cancelled. Looks a good business model to double book, cancel a customers booking and make $50.

We were visiting Estes Park on our way to drop our daughter off at her summer job at a Dude Ranch. The four of us had plenty of room and were very comfortable in the two story unit. Very convenient location, close to groceries, restaurants and of course RMNP entrance. Enjoyed waking up and hanging out in our pajamas as we brewed coffee and made breakfast in the well equipped kitchen. Also, plenty of room for a round of cards later in the evening. In other news: Be sure to get to RMNP EARLY there were long lines and sparse parking in Mid-May and only a small portion of the park was even open.

Much needed get away!

We loved our cabin SO much! It was was an amazing place to relax after a day of hiking. The area is so beautiful and the owners are very nice! We will definitely be back! James and Molly Cedar Rapids, Iowa

This was the most charming resort we ever stayed at. The rooms were lovely, and the 2nd bedroom upstairs with its own separate bathroom was most appreciated by our son. It can easily accommodate up to 7 people. The whole place was so homely and well-appointed with its own full kitchen facility, BBQ facility in the front patio, and full washer/dryer facility to boot. Did I mention the jacuzzi in the main bedroom? And what a lovely location! Outside the town and barely a couple of miles from the east entrance of the Rocky Mountain National Park, with enchanting views of the mountains and the Fall River right by the resort. The managers are most kind and helpful. If we visit Estes Park again, we certainly won’t have to decide where to stay!
