My family loved staying at Buckeye Tree Lodge. Everything was very clean and well maintained. The views were absolutely stunning! The hotel was very conveniently located next to Sequoia National Park. There were lots of cute local restaurants and shops as well.

Perfect Spot for the National Parks

We luckily found this jewel of a lodge/cabin very last minute! With it being a holiday hotels, cabins etc were booked. With our travels we didn’t know where we land each night so we didn’t book reservations. Lace was so kind and sweet and Nikki was fabulous too inspecting the cabin before we went into our cabin named Forest. The cabin was very clean, had great air conditioning, comfortable beds and great living space! We did not use the kitchen but there was everything there you would need to,prepare a meal and also a large bbq grill and outdoor table. There was a pool for relaxing, actually two, the river running through the property, a big bonus was they offered spa services. I received a very relaxing deep tissue massage from Dai. She has magical hands and very sweet. Overall a 10 out of 10. Book with them for your next stay in the area.

GREAT LOCATION TO SEQUOIA NP, NOT TO KINGS CANYON NP, CLEAN, SPACIOUS CABINS

My overall experience was very good. We rented the Falcon cabin. It was an upstairs cabin of a 2 story cabin with a private entry. It was somewhat challenging carrying luggage up & down the stairs. The cabin was spacious, clean & well equipped. Nice size fridge & eating utensils if you choose to cook. The cabin is not very well lit. If you are taller than 6’4” you will troubles in the shower due to ceiling & beam height. You can’t beat the location if you are looking to be close to Sequoia NP, however the drive to King’s Canyon NP is a haul, whether you chose your go thru Sequoia or go around the park using hwys. The cabins are only walkable to a somewhat pricey restaurant, so you will have to drive 10-15 min for groceries or other restaurants. I would consider staying here again, but Id research other cabins also.

Perfect quiet location outside the park

This place was wonderful. View off the balcony was right over a river. And only 2 minutes from the park entrance. Clean, comfortable beds. Movies to borrow. Great local advice. Staff was very friendly and accommodating to any needs we had. Will definitely stay here again

The Week Before Christmas and it was the best time.

We stayed at the Dogwood Cabin for 6 nights. The cabin was amazing and our entire family (4) which included our two boxer pups fit perfectly. The location of Buckeye can’t get any better, you are literally less then 5 mins to the entry gate of Sequoia National Park and about 10 mins the opposite directions is Three Rivers where you can access the Kaweah River through several marked areas. Not to mention the Kaweah River is right behind Buckeye Tree Lodge, you can hear it if you just open the windows. Our trip was relaxing and fun. We will definitely come back in the near future. Also the staff at Buckeye were amazing, nice, Friendly and helpful. Thanks for an amazing stay.
