Great hotel but could be a little noisy if busy

We stayed as a family of 4 in July 2024. Overall the renovation is very good. Rooms were well updated and the view from the terrace were spectacular. When we visited the restaurant was yet working, and so we can't comment on this. We had guests above us who were quite noisy, which I think was more due to the quality of the build rather than excessive noise from the guests. Therefore, go for an upper room if you have a choice. The swimming pool and jacuzzi were great, and so was being right on the first/last free Zion shuttle bus. We would definitely return if visiting Zion.

Still wasn't fully ready after the renovation, but looks amazing and is in the ideal location with easy shuttle access,

I stayed in room 107 and the view was to die for. (See photos). As per the lovely lady working at the front desk on the date of my visit, the hotel has just undergone an 18 month although they haven't ironed out all the kinks. The ice machine wasn't ready (needed this to refill my cooler which had yogurt and other things in it needed for a 14 day road trip), they had a microwave in the lobby but no utensils on site anywhere for my 11 year old daughter and my sister to eat their dinner from Sol Market when it was the only option we had at 10pm, the lobby restroom wasn't open, some signage was still on the ground instead of mounted, and the lobby took a while to find because it had a sign that said "Majestic View" instead of Hotel de Novo. Now for the pros: - gorgeous view - excellent location - it is stop #1 on the Zion shuttle - the pool/hot tub faces the canyons - they have free coffee/tea 24 hours a day - bottle refill station in the lobby - the patio/balcony of the rooms in building #1 where we stayed faces the canyon - parking is complimentary - Keith, who was working the front desk at night, gave amazing tips and advice to maximize our limited time at Zion

Simply Majestic!

OK not everything's 5⭐perfect, but they're completely remodeling the entire property over this Winter, including all rooms. Nonetheless, we loved our 5 day stay in a King suite. Got up every day early enough to drive into the park. Ate Bfast at 6am Oscar's cafe, grabbed coffees to go across street at Deep Creek coffee. Went where we wanted to before the crowds swamped the shuttles (including hiking the Narrows; rented from Zion Guru). Had 2 nice lunches at Me Me's and a very nice dinner at Colony One.

Good for the area

Service 5/5 - The front desk is very nice and they cleaned our room very well Rooms 5/5 - The view from the patio is an amazing one. Can’t believe you can get a patio at this value. The rooms our cozy with a woody mood. Value 5/5 - Its cheap considering not only can you get 2 QUEEN beds for under 200 but a patio/balcony too! Cleanliness 4.8/5 - The place is a little run down but that’s ok! Overall - Would stay here again if we come back

We stayed for three nights to use the National Park. We were nervous reading the reviews as they seemed mixed but we were happy. Laundry room available which was handy for us. Room was large, decoration was good, very comfortable and clean and was made up daily. Fridge in the room was handy, the free coffee and microwave in reception was also handy. The bus stop for the National park was great and free of charge, very easy to use and not to busy being the first stop! Most staff were super friendly, just one lady when we tried to check in was not helpful nor friendly - it seemed like she didn’t really want anyone there. The restaurant next door was good, we enjoyed the good food on two nights. The staff in there were really friendly. It’s a real shame they don’t do breakfast, we could have done with this. Zion National park was amazing, well worth the entry fee for the days we were there. We did most of the walls that were open
