My wife asked me to book the Lodge because of the view and convenience ot the Glacier. It turned out we got more than what we wished. Not only the view is amazing, the food quality was good. Staff was nice. We could have a very relaxing sleep and woke up in the morning to see the sunrise (sorts of) refleting on the glacier. Must stay if you visit Jasper.

Great location opposite Athabasca Glacier, glacier view room was great, modern and with comfortable bed and every thing you would require Nespresso coffee maker etc. What let’s the experience down is the buffet style restaurant which offers lower standard than we were expecting, food was not hot and plates we cold which did not help Service was fine.

Highly recommend staying here for the night to visit the glacier. You get an early tour of the glacier when it’s not super crowded and get a personal guide who were all very informative. Views from the lodge were great as well

Great Location between Lake Louise and Jasper. Great Lobby view with a nice hot coffee and chocolate machine. Rooms are clean and staff were friendly. There is a happy hour with drinks and food with a nice scenery of the Glacier.

The hotel locates on the 3rd floor of the Discovery Center, which has a breath-taking view of the Glacier. The rooms are modern and very clean, and the staff of the hotel are very polite and accommodating. We traveled with two kids of 10 years old and they’re happy to have their own beds in the loft. The breakfast provided better choices than typical continental breakfast with a selection of cheese and cold cuts, although certain things are slow to be replenished so it’s better to go early when things are all available. The price of the rooms are a little higher than in Jasper or Banff, but there’re no other hotels with 30/40min drive. They should install more lights outside the hotel in the parking lot and the bridge leads to the hotel as it’s extremely difficult if you’re checking in at night. It snowed when we checked in and one person actually fell on the bridge as ice formed on the road.
