My reasoning for giving this a 3 star oppose to 5 is that I’m comparing to other hotels we have stayed in in the past. The pros were the room and bathroom they were extremely nice and comfy, the views and the early evening free cocktail and mezze boards. The cons…. the surroundings inside the hotel were a bit of a miss match, hard to explain, dinner was probably the worst meal we had in the whole time we were in Canada. Luke warm soup and tasteless main courses, this made our decision not to stay and pay for breakfast the next day. This was the most expensive hotel we stayed in whilst on this trip and at nearly £500 for the night, I expect the food at least to be slightly higher standard. Would we stay here if passing again……probably not. Just stop for a drink if the sun is shining and sit outside, the next stop isn’t too far to drive.

This hotel is amazing - the location, the hotel itself, and the food. We booked the Glacier View Package including the Skywalk Trip and Icefield Discovery, which meant we were able to do both trips with just the hotel group and nobody else there. The whole experience was great and so well planned - would definitely recommend.

A hotel bang in the middle of the glorious Icefield Parkway with a view of a magnificent glacier - what more could a traveller ask for?! Rooms and facilities were amazing. Easy to do our glacier tour the next day.

First everyone was so friendly and helpful. We stayed here on our way to Jasper. The views were so great and the next morning we went on the glacier adventure with the big wheel trucks. We ate in the hotel restaurant Chalet. quick easy food nothing fancy, but was very good. We sat outside and enjoyed the views as the evening was fantastic! We had a room with a loft which we did not need but was the only one room available so it worked. they were very clean but nothing fancy. You are paying for the view and it is worth it!

The hotel location and view cannot be beat. However, the front desk staff who set the tone of the experience was arrogant, rude, and not helpful. The breakfast at the restaurant was very good, but the supper was not worth the prices.
