Just LOVED this cozy little place where our tour housed us during our visit to Denali National Park. Not that you’ll need or want it, there is cable TV and, perhaps a bit more needful, a bit of WIFI (two bars) in our rooms. The resort also has sites for campers and trailers, cabins and platformed tents for those wishing a more rustic experience. Would definitely return on my own for a week or two. It’s located less than 5 miles from the park visitor center from which you can take bus tours deeper into the park. Fantastic!

Our room was dirty. We literally found trash in the bathroom floor and behind the bedside table. It’s old and cheap. There are literally zero services that don’t require an extra fee. You only get 30 minutes of free (bad) Wi-Fi. I wouldn’t stay again and would not recommend it.

This hotel was part of the land/sea cruise. large enough rooms, with great view of the creek and mountain side. a train went by in the middle of the night, that was cool. the hotel is part of a campground area. the main draw back was lack of restaraunt. there was a Thai food truck and a little store.

We found the Grizzly bear motel to be great! Check in was quick and staff friendly. We liked our room on building C with great deck with seating overlooking a river. The room was clean and just as needed. Close and easy access to Denali NP and just a couple miles to restaurant and gift shops. On site store had good coffee. Would stay here again!

Very Nice RV Park

We stayed in the RV park section of the resort. Spaces are pretty tight, but they all have electric and water (there is a dump station on-site that's free for customers to use). Sites are clean and the area is quiet at night. Rates are very reasonable and the resort is very easy to find (it's right on the highway). There is a great restaurant across the street at another, much larger resort, but there is also a food truck always on premises at this resort. The check-in was a breeze and there is both a gift shop and liquor store in the same building. Wi-Fi is not free and Verizon cell service was marginal to non-existent in the RV itself. It was better out by the highway. There are a number of cabins there, too, but we didn't look inside any of them. Based on the vans we saw and/or used, many tour companies inside Denali National Park, or very close by, will pick you up at the resort if you don't want to disconnect and drive to a meeting place. There are also numerous flyers posted near the office for private transportation services. This was the perfect place for us to stay during our visit to Denali.
