A cute, old-school resort above the lakeshore. Scott and Julie are great hosts, our cabin was cozy and cute, and the vibe was traditional Lake Shasta with a decided hip flavor. Tsasdi owners also run Basshole Brews restaurant just a short drive away and the food there is terrific too! This was our fist visit but we'll definitely be back!

Absolute Gem on Lake Shasta!

I was road tripping from PDX to San Jose with no plans to stop, but got a feeling for an adventure so I started searching for spots to stay 2 nights on Lake Shasta - and what an absolute gem I found in Tsasdi Resort!!! I left a vmail to inquire about rate/accommodations and Scott, the owner phoned me back within an hour. I had spoken to a few other spots and had decided I'd drive to them & check them out before reserving the nights. But Scott's friendliness & pride in his place had my instincts saying this is the spot. So I booked lake front cabin #4 for 2 nights - sight unseen. I had the most magical 2 days here! The cabin was so clean - not a speck of dust anywhere. Sheets 100% cotton, decorations rustic with knotty pine paneling everywhere. Cute and very well stocked kitchen. Awesome cicered deck off back overlooking lake. I spent saturday on the lake with my paddleboard - launched from Tsasdi's private dock. And what a great dock!!! Bring your boat and park it for your stay at their dock in a private slip. I stopped at the local market and cooked up a steak on their community propane grills for night 2, but night 1 dinner was spent at Basshole Brews down the street that Scott & his wife also own. Kid you not - I had an absolutely delicious dinner - tri tip steak sandwich, thick fries with sea salt, iceberg wedge salad, and amazing Brussel sprouts. The bartender was fantastic (Rusty I think his name was) and made the BEST lemon drop cocktail I've ever had! Highly recommended Basshole Brews and Tsasdi Resort if you want a peaceful, fun, comfortable, and fantastic time on lake shasta.

So much goodness!

Our family met up here and absolutely had so much fun. Our kids range 8-13 years. We borrowed the FREE kayaks, lounged at the pool, fished, and skied/tubes at Mt Shasta Ski park. Perfect family getaway! The cabins are super cute and clean. Grills are a bonus but bring all your condiments and cooking spices you require. Scott was helpful telling us about Mossbrae Waterfall which was so beautiful (ask about where to park). You will love your visit. Bring a hammock and a fishing pole. Enjoy!

Just had the most lovely weekend getaway to Tsasdi Resort. Booking was easy and affordable, check in was super quick, and the owners' mother who helped us get acquainted was so nice! We loved having our own space at the cabin, and the views were gorgeous, even on a rainy day. We were able to easily drive to Mt. Shasta for hiking. I would definitely love to come back in the summer. Thank you for a great trip!

NOT!!!! "Lakefront"

We paid way too much money for a cabin being advertised at "lakefront' which, to me, means you walk out the door and there's the lake. That is not the case with any of these units. There is a street between the "resort" and the lake. And this time of year the lake is down 80 feet, so after you cross the street you have to go down a lot of steps and then further down a graded path to get to the dock/water. The cabin itself was clean and cute. Bring your own shampoo and conditioner. There is a coffee pot and filters, but no coffee. I believe the owners own a coffee shop in town and have their own blend, so a little starter packet would have been nice. If I had been sold a "lake view" cabin I would have been delighted, but paying for and anticipating a lakefront and not getting it just left us with a bad taste. We felt hoodwinked.
