We visited Red Cliffs Lodge today. The views along 128 East and the the Colorado River to get to there were spectacular. Once we arrived at Red Cliffs Lodge, we had a very tasty lunch at the River Deck. We toured the grounds along the Colorado River and took many beautiful pictures. We went to the Moab Film Institute Museum on the bottom floor. It was an interesting museum with informative displays. We did not know that so many movies have been filmed in the Moab area. What impressed us in addition to the beauty of the lodge were the friendly and helpful employees at the front desk and the River Deck restaurant. It was a wonderful day to remember. We plan to stay at Red Cliffs Lodge the next time we return to Moab.

Worth the extra drive from Moab - get a cabin!

Spectacular surroundings, great service, good breakfast buffet (I was worried after reading dinner reviews but I thought it was a pretty good buffet for the price). The cabins were gorgeous and great to be able to see the river in the back. Needed to drive to get to pool and hot tub, but they are great pool/hottub with night sky and amazing red rock backdrop.

If you like the scenery of the Western United States, you will love the Red Cliffs Lodge . Relaxing environment with spectacular views in every direction . Friendly and helpful staff. Very, very nice room with great view of the Colorado river flowing by. Dinner was good, the bread pudding desert was wonderful.

This resort is a treasure. It is set up like a ranch and has many resort activities including horseback riding and a swimming pool. There was wine tasting at the Castle Creek Winery on the premises followed by a western barbeque. In the main building is a movie museum with memorabilia of movies and television shows shot in the nineteen fifties near the premises. Very educational experience.

Truly a first class resort. Beautiful accommodations, a stunning view of red cliffs right outside your window, an excellent steakhouse on the premises, the film museum downstairs. Outside pool, kayaking and horseback riding activities. Staff is very professional, helpful and very friendly. Perfect base to visit Arches and Canyonlands National Parks.
