Had a real nice relaxing 4 day get-a-away. The Colorado river and cliff views are awesome. Big hearty breakfast for the price was fabulous and a good energizer for the great hikes in Arches. Staff was Excellent! Moab is nice, but closed for the season. If you're going to Arches, stay at The Red Cliffs Lodge for a taste of The Old West.

With all of the hours and days my husband and I have been working, we desperately need a couple of days to relax and reconnect. This was the perfect place to do just that! Upon arrival the front desk clerk was very friendly and filled us in on all the things to see and do while we stayed with them. We stayed in one of the king suites. The room was very nice, and as the clerk informed us the view of the Colorado river just outside our private patio was breath taking. The low lights and soothing colors of the room as you walked in took away all of our stress and immediately you felt a calmness wash over you. The king sized bed is situated above the kitchenet, dining, sitting area. So when you wake in the morning you can take advantage of the beautiful view out back. As we were there during the off season, we pretty much had the place to ourselves. They do not offer all of the activities they do during peak season, but they did offer just what we were looking for. A restful and quite weekend getaway! There were a few other guests staying and they did not cram us all into one building, rather they spaced us apart in 2 buildings with at least 3 rooms separating us, which truly gave you a feeling of having the place to yourself. The restaurant was not open for lunch or dinner this time of year, but they did serve a wonderful cooked to order breakfast. The chef knows how to cook! Diane was our server and she was sweet as could be. We knew ahead that the restaurant would not be open so before arriving we went by the City Market in Moab and bought several cheeses, meats and fruits, which we had 2 wonderful dinners with a bottle of their wine. The rooms were very clean and smelled wonderful. We went to Dead Horse Point and drove to see the Gemini Bridges, encountering very few vehicles. I really can't say enough good things about our stay. We are already planning out next off season trip! Thanks to everyone at Red Cliffs Lodge for making our stay both wonderful and relaxing!

We stay here regularly to break up the trip between Colorado and Arizona. It is a stuningly beautiful setting on the Colorado river, in the red cliffs. The moon and sun rises create a light I've not seen anywhere else. And it is dog-friendly to the max. Walks on the river, poop bags redily available, and water bowls provided. Not to be missed!

We spent Christmas here, which was a wonderfully slow period for the Lodge, which made it feel like we had the whole place to ourselves. The setting is jaw-droppingly beautiful. The staff is Western friendly (which means they're double friendly). The room was so tranquil, with a view of the slow-moving Colorado River right outside our back door. It is both a lodge where we staying to explore the local National Parks and itself a destination we hated to leave. Six Stars, for sure!
