Red Cliffs Lodge Moab
Spectacular location, friendly staff but probably a better experience during the busy season.

We really enjoyed being able to walk to the stables for horseback riding and to yoga every morning. We also loved that the Colorado River was literally in our backyard. We had a great view of it from our room!
We were a little disappointed that many of the normal activities that are included in the $50/day resort fee were canceled due to it being "the end of the season." The water dispenser in the gym was empty. Even after we told the staff it was empty, they never added water over the three days we were there. It felt like they weren't putting in 100% of the effort because the busy season was over.
We were also a little disappointed in the very limited dinner menu at the resort's restaurant. There was almost nothing a vegetarian could order. I am a pescatarian and ordered the trout. It literally came with no sides. It was on a few leaves of arugula but there were no vegetables or starches on the side. In fact, there were none offered on the menu. For the higher price, I think it should have come with sides! My friend who is a vegetarian, could only order tortilla chips and guacamole. We elected to eat in town the remaining days. The food choices were much better and more reasonably priced.
Overall, it was a lovely property, but it would probably be better to stay during "the busy season."

Our visit this year was impacted by remodeling which closed down a large portion of the property and we hope that when we visit again, the improvements do not erase the charm and uniqueness we have enjoyed.
10 out of 10 fantastic everything is superb.

The staff the lodging the facilities the views the food, everything is outstanding. Thoroughly recommended . Can’t wait to go back next trip , in fact we will plan our trip so we can stay there again, only this time we will stay longer. Better standards than any 5* hotels ! With the added incredible views as an extra.

The cabins are warm and inviting with comfortable beds. What a unique place to share with friends and family. We hope to return next Thanksgiving.

If you are planning on off roading with Bronco, it is a very central place to stay. Their basecamp is on RedCliff Lodge property. My only minor concern was the tile flooring in our room which was a little chilly on the feet in winter...wear socks.
