I’ll start off by saying that I was recently injured in a car wreck and my back and neck both prove difficult to get comfortable. Wifey describes the beds as “one of the softer beds” especially after the seemingly fleece-covered-plywood that Best Western passed off as a bed on us in March. The kids loved the swimming pool. We didn’t explore most of the grounds since we were in town to visit with other people and whatnot. The refrigerator in the room got super cold, enough to keep ice cream frozen. There was no microwave in the room but it was located right next to the ice maker so that was ok. Not too hard to walk 25 feet to make popcorn. I know it sounds like a minor thing too but the shampoo / body wash they had was a really manly / woodsy smell and the wife wouldn’t keep her hands off me after I took a shower so that’s a plus too.

We stayed here on our visit to Oregon and Northern California. The location was perfect for us as we wanted to visit Crater Lake National Park. Klamath Lake area was very easy to get get to and to and from the park was a very nice drive.

Overall good experience at the resort. Resort sits in an isolated area with a good view of Klamath Lake. They have a lot of options for staying at a 4-5 bedroom home, a room at the resort, and even a 10 bed mansion on top of the hill in the resort. Gym is actually good with an aerobics room, with an indoor swimming pool. My favorite part is they have a little mini market for food and drinks so you don’t have to go too far for something to eat. I wouldn’t question coming back here for another trip with my family.

Not impressed with my recent visit to the Running Y Ranch Resort. The good: -Room had a nice view -Parking The Bad: -Lack of amenities available during my stay despite tacking on a hidden resort fee at the conclusion of the stay -Lack of complementary items given the price you pay for a room -Coffee maker in room was dirty Overall, the hotel was overpriced and not upfront about the hidden resort fees that I would be charged during my stay.

We enjoyed two wonderful nights at the resort. The rooms were nice and clean with plenty of space. And the beds...the beds were super comfortable and provided comfort for much needed rest after a 10 hour drive - we'd stay there again just for the comfort of our room. Other things we enjoyed, fine dining, great pool/hot tub and spa facilities, and good alternative food options close by. Excellent place.
