Very nice facility
Very nice facility, but even though we booked two rooms for four days, no one told us we needed to request room service. When we did request it, the front desk clerk bordered on rude saying it was too late for that day (though it was early in the morning), and acted like it was our fault for not noticing the piece of paper taped to the checkin counter describing the room service policy.

First we stayed at this resort was last year, we booked a e bedroom vacation rental and loved it. Decided to come again this year and again booked a 3 bedroom vacation rental. We were very disappointed and don't think we will be returning again. First thing we looked into the rental unit and found gas on the stove had been left on so we had to leave doors open to allow fresh in, second the rooms linen was was old and not very clean. So our second stay at the resort was disappointing, not if i want to return there again.

Stayed here for a couple nights expecting it to be a relaxing environment. We booked the suite (1bd with Kitchen) for a little more room. The room and furniture were dusty and there were spiderwebs and spiders throughout. We didn’t even feel comfortable walking around barefoot. The bathroom was surprisingly the cleanest place. Would not stay here again. We weren’t expecting 4-5 star resort but do expect a certain level of cleanliness. It was expensive and not worth it.

great resort & spa!!
This is a beautiful resort with an excellent spa! I got an hour massage, & it was heavenly! The rooms are great with great views of the golf course. The 2 restaurants on the property have great food as well!

This property is one of the better places to stay when visiting Crater Lake which is about 30 miles north. Though we had an unpleasant experience when checking in, we would not stay at this property again. The room we were given was noisy and next to the elevator and ice machine on the ground floor, near the restaurant. We went back to the front desk to request a different room. The young blond woman was surly, refused to let us speak to a manager (claiming one was not on site), and stated she could not do anything because we had booked the room through a third party. Had we booked directly through Running Y, "perhaps" she would give us a discount. We were seeking a quiet room, not a discount. Unfortunately, we were there for 2 days. We never "bothered" the front desk again with this matter. If ever in the area again, we would seek to stay in the park at one of the lodges, or in a different location. An employee like the one we encountered truly ruins a vacation. Several days after, we did reach out to Christy in management and told her of our experience. We did not want a refund or discount, just a good vacation. Choose "wisely" if staying in the area.
