They refused to refund a cancellation charge because I cancelled a reservation three hours past their deadline. Even though the room was immediately rebooked at a higher price than my reservation, I was charged for the cost of a night plus taxes and unspecified fees and taxes on a services that were never actually rendered. The representative of the motel was entirely unsympathetic and unaccommodating. I would recommend travellers to Banff instead stay at one the town's many friendlier establishments that exercise common sense and courtesy towards the public.

Comfortable bed. Almost clean bathroom. Other than that, it’s a dump. Stains on the carpet, poor furniture, electrical outlet broken, bad lights, windows barely open, no screens, piles of trash under the stairwell. Imagine a bad Red Roof Inn, then triple the price - that’s Bumper’s Inn. It's being renovated but the renovation looks pretty sad too.

Good hotel and reasonably priced for Banff

The cheapest place we could find within walking distance of downtown Banff. This is due to the fact that it is on the outskirts but still less than a 15 minute walk. Room was large and clean set around a small courtyard. Quiet and easy parking. Check in was across quite a busy road in a different hotel but not an issue.

Might be budget

We were a cycling group booked in 6 months ago. We arrived at our double room to find it was a single room. The receptionist did not know the setup of the rooms at all. He proceeded to tell us that they would put a cot in the room and there was nothing they could do at all and that he could not call a manager? The rooms are filthy due to the absence of the management. The bathroom floor has not been properly washed and the carpet on the sides of the bed has not been vacuumed. The towels are geey and threadbare. Really you have to up your game even if you are a budget Hotel

We were charged more than quoted, which was already an exorbitant price. The rooms were run down and dirty. Bathroom was dirty when we arrived and clearly had not been properly cleaned in a long time. No mat in the shower so a real danger of slipping, but was told it was management policy not to provide them! Very helpful staff member got one from old storage. They said we would be moved to another room but it never happened. No managers, ever, to sort out all the multiple problems we had and the group had with bookings/rooms/payments. Find somewhere else.
