We had a very comfortable stay at the Apache Motel and I would definitely stay there again. Or room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was great with freshly baked cinnamon rolls. We enjoyed the heated pool. The location is far enough off the main road to be quiet but close enough that you could use one of their cruiser bikes and get to everything in town.

Front desk staff were welcoming and friendly, but the room smelled strongly of bleach, and the windows did not open! Also, the TV was small and did not allow streaming. The location is good - only a four block walk to the main area with shops and restaurants. Even though John Wayne used to stay here, we will not return because of the lack of fresh air.

I have always loved “motel’s”. They lend easier access to your room, normally smaller than hotels and definitely offer a feeling of less congestion. Apache Motel had a hometown feeling. It was off the beaten path of the busy parts but was easy walking to restaurants & shopping. Rooms were large & comfortable, front desk very friendly & helpful and the extra offering of a daily breakfast, sitting by the fire with family/friends created an amazing level of comfort. I highly recommend this motel….. it’ll only enhance your Moab experience.

The place itself is very nice for a motel, and we really enjoyed our 2 night stay, but what I really want to praise is Nancy at the front desk! My wife left her passport in the room we occupied for two nights, and didn't remember where she hid it until we were preparing to fly out of SLC the next day. We contacted Nancy, who helped locate the passport, then helped get it on a shuttle to SLC airport, where I met the driver (whom I tipped well). THAT'S CUSTOMER SERVICE! We love you, Nancy!!!

Lovely, nostalgic motel. Nice updates. Love the fire going smelled great. Pool is heated. Love the John Wayne memorabilia. The staff is super nice and helpful. Great location. Nothing very fancy, if that is what you’re looking for, but comfortable beds is what is really needed after an adventurous day.
