Read a review from some one else and have to agree . It’s a 60’s style motel , very central to downtown . Ground floor rooms are quite dark and a/c is he old style window rattlers , very noisy . Moab is not cheap for accomodation , so I guess you get what you pay for . Nice town , obviously busy cos of national parks . Worth a visit for the parks alone 👍

We love everything about this place we read the reviews on TripAdvisor and found them to be completely accurate. I only gave her 4 stars because I struggle with the parking. For some reason they have more rooms than a parking spots. Although they are very nice about it one night we came back late because we were doing the nighttime stars and we couldn’t find a place to park. I finally parked illegally in front of the swimming pool. I told the gal at the front desk and she was completely wonderful about it and said as long as they could get in the swimming gate it was fine.

A basic motel from the 60s. Clean rooms and large but nothing to write home about. About what I’d expect to pay for newer hotel on low end. Only hotel on trip thru Utah National Parks that didn’t have free breakfast. Knots pine walls

All the hotels in Moab the spring week we were there were super expensive. It is an amazing tourist destination - National Parks, hiking, jeeping, biking etc. But the Big Horn Lodge had a cancellation and gave us a room. The staff was friendly, the room was wonderful, comfy and well cleaned each day. Convenient and quiet even though it is on Main Street and there was a huge car rally with modified cars zooming up and down the streets, they quit at 10 p.m.

This is a great, no-frills place. We stayed for 5 nights and had no problems. The price was cheap, room was clean, the bed was comfy, the shower was hot, downtown was in easy walking distance, and the cable channels were plentiful. That's all we needed since the hotel was just a place to decompress and hat some sleep at the end of very busy/active days. Some of the older reviews complain about slow wifi, but in 2019 we didn't experience that. The connection was good enough to stream Netflix without any issues. There was a little outside noise, as others have noted, but it wasn't bothersome -- it was always quiet by 9 p.m. and didn't disrupt our sleep at all. We felt it was very good value for what we paid.
