When you plan your trip, definitely consider this place!! It's located 'off the beaten path' in a quiet neighborhood. The rooms are in several two-story buildings with a unique setup, which affords privacy. Beds are comfortable; ample storage in both the bedroom and bathroom. Good water pressure in the shower. Many amenities, including an umbrella outside each room. Continental breakfast includes local baked goods--delicious! Some first floor rooms have their own outdoor seating area. It's about a three-block walk down Cottage Street to the Main Street shops and restaurants. The staff was accommodating and friendly!! Grounds are kept meticulous. Highly recommended!!

We loved this quaint place! The rooms were unique and roomy, the breakfasts was a good selection of bagels and muffins and the employees were super friendly! We loved the rum bar too! It was nice to be able to walk to all places in bar harbor and come back and sit outside with a glass of wine!

Good choice in Bar Harbor

Queen Anne's Revenge is mostly good and I have mostly good things to say about it. The location is convenient as you are within walking distance to most places in the town of Bar Harbor. The lobby, bar, and outdoor areas are welcoming and well maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful. There is a continental breakfast offered along with daily hot drinks and sparkling wine. Our room was modern and comfortable. Overall, the hotel is good an I would recommend it if you are visiting Bar Harbor, but that doesn't mean there isn't room for improvement... The door to our room was a sliding, glass patio door (I've attached a photo). I've never seen this before and it didn't provide much privacy. We would close the curtains over the glass, but every day when we returned to our room, housekeeping had opened them again. Speaking of the housekeeping, they did the basics (made the bed, gave us new towels) but did little beyond that. Dirty glasses from the complimentary sparkling wine remained on the dresser for three days for example. Lastly the parking situation is tough. There is a private parking lot, and passes for all the guests, but it doesn't seem to be enforced. We were there in October (the low season) and when we would return at night from dinner, there were no spots left. I asked the front desk what to do, and I was instructed to just block other guests in.

Outstanding room! It was very spacious with a 4 poster king size bed, a working fireplace, a seating area, two televisions, a marble bathroom with a shower and a jacuzzi bathtub for two, and a small outdoor private deck with trees and landscaping. I felt like a queen. It was simply lovely! The bed was the best one I have ever slept on, and I have a very expensive one at home. This bed was firm but cradled you like a hug! A thoughtful welcome basket was also provided. This was a memorable stay!! Highly recommend you treat yourself. It makes everything else about your Bar Harbor visit even better!

We arrived for our stay early in the afternoon and were met by Hannah who was great. Check in was fine. Our room was in one of the outer buildings and is in much need of a refurb. The bed creaked like it was about to break, the solitary chair was so badly sprung (as in there were none) that it was uncomfortable, the air conditioning was unbearably noisy and was the size of a small submarine. On the positive side breakfast was good though don’t expect anything to be able to carry things back to your room. I asked one of the staff for a tray and was told “no trays” . Hannah came to the rescue and found something that worked. The location is good for exploring Bar Harbor and not too far away from Acadia and Cadillac Mountain.
