We only stayed here for one night, having just driven the Blue Ridge Parkway. The hotel was in the process of being renovated but this didn't affect our stay. There were several places to eat within a short drive. The room was a good size and the staff were pleasant and helpful.

This hotel, quality and location, was just OK. Front Royal is accessible but not walkable from this location. It is right off the highway and close enough to the Entrance to Shenandoah National park. If you are traveling through the area, or looking to visit many places in the surrounding area then the location is decent.
Property seems old with dated décor. Breakfast was a classic hotel "included" affair. Pool was closed when we visited.

We booked an handicapped accessible room because that was all the website has available. The front desk person refused to give us a regular room even though “plenty are available” because “that’s just policy.” The assigned room is right off the lobby and elevator. We’ve stayed here for years annually. This is pretty sad service.

We booked this based on price not realizing it was under repair and it was so close to and interstae exit ramp. The road noise was not a problem despite our room being about 50 feet from the exit ramp. The raips were not being done on Good Friday evening and the breakfast was great. The only problem was geting the temperature adjusted. We managed to suceed it doing that,

We were pleasantly surprised with how nice this property was! Although it is under some renovations, it is very accessible as normal. The entire staff that we encountered were very pleasant and friendly, smiled and had good eye contact when speaking to us. Nicki at the front desk was especially helpful. The room was clean and had a great comfortable bed with nice pillows. Breakfast was a treat and offer a nice select of hot and cold items. 24 hour coffee service is great as well! Next time we are in the area, we will definitely return for another stay!
