Enjoyable experience overall. Just outside of Seward, with easy shuttle transportation to and from. I recommend this place for a stay along the way to see other Alaska sights.

This place is a gem! This is just minutes from the Seward main strip tucked back into the trees. The staff here is absolutely wonderful and the property is gorgeous!! There are walking paths close the property and make it easy for a morning walk. They provide a shuttle is you want to go down to Seward for dinner.

We did a Celebrity land/sea cruise tour and on the land part they put us at the Seward Windsong Lodge. Our stay was only one day and a night but the time we were there every one was friendly and helpful. The gift shop had excellent choices and was opened all the time. The main lodge had a great fireplace that was a great place to warm up after a rainy day. We used the courtesy bus that takes you into the town of Seward and picks you up, Mike was our driver who was excellent. Mike gave great advise on local spots and even helped us to see a Moose along the road while keeping us safe in the bus. The rooms are so comfy and cozy I wish we could of stayed a little longer here because it was a great experience. We also ate breakfast at the restaurant on site the breakfast buffet was a excellent selection but I liked that you could just order a small breakfast if you didn't want a lot to eat. We had drinks at the bar which also had a great atmosphere. We stayed at the Denali lodge in Denali park and the Seward Windsong lodge beat them 10 times over.

We enjoyed a 2 night stay at the property. We used the laundry facilities and the shuttle to town was a nice amenity.

It's a nice facility, but...

It's clean, spacious & up-to-date. But rooms facing the road/parking lot are subject to noise from their shuttlebus (@6:45 am) and the road. I am from New York where things are not inexpensive so when I tell you that this place is overpriced I know of what I speak. I was able to get an Airbnb in Homer after leaving this facility for the same price, it was on a hill overlooking the Homer spit, with two bedrooms, laundry huge open family area and kitchen. What more do I need to say?
