The shuttle from the lodge drops off / picks up at 3 different spots in Seward. Mike, Kathleen and Martha were the drivers and were all wonderful. There was couple good places on site for eat and drink : Ressurection Roadhouse, Puffin Dive and the breakfast buffet. The buffet was around $25 and had amazing seasoned potatoes. My wife really enjoyed her Exit Glacier mojito and I loved my old fashioned and smoke and cherries drinks. Grounds were nice but do remember the rooms being a little too warm when we first got there. This overall was one of the better places we stayed at for our interior Alaska trip. I would stay here again.

Friendly check in and given room 411 in Monkshood on the second floor. Lovely big room with two queen beds, small dining table, fridge. Small bathroom with shower over the bath. Heating was easy and worked. Plenty of plug sockets; WiFi ok, not great. Lovely private balcony at the back overlooking the woods, which was covered so stayed dry.

Very clean rooms. Private balcony a huge plus. Laundry facility was close to the lodges for convieniace. Restaurant food good. Limited choices, a little pricey but the entire area is. I will be definitely be staying here next visit.

Nice property, but Wi-Fi and cell signals blocked from room

Booking a night here as part of a package with a tour cruise in Kenai Fjords National Park was a great value (and the tours into Kenai Fjords are awesome.) Rooms were clean and relatively spacious, back deck was nice. Only downside is that the back door of the room had some kind of coating on it that almost completely blocks all Wi-Fi and cell signals. There was an access point just a few feet outside of our room, which had a great signal as soon as the door was open or if you were in the back porch, but the door blocked being able to connect at all from inside the room when it was closed. Which is really weird for a glass door. Either the coating needs to be removed from the doors or access points need to be placed in the rooms. Making plans is difficult without Internet or phone service, plus this prevented us from being able to use apps that would wake us up when the aurora was visible, which was unfortunate on a night with a Kp index of 7. While the property is not inside Seward itself, it's a very quick drive back and forth to downtown Seward, only about 3-5 minutes.

It was our first trip to Alaska & We were very pleased to see our tour director had booked us at a lodge. Property was quaint & amazing and the rooms were very clean and decorated to meet the “lodge” atmosphere.
