The room was super noisy being by the main road and the temperature was super hard to get at an acceptable spot. We got upgraded to 2 queen beds, which turned out to be nice since one of the bed sheets was dirty. But it was super cheep so we didn’t have too high of expectations.

A thoroughly disappointing experience
Booked the hotel though a third party site because the price seemed really good. I guess you get what you pay for because this place is shoddy as can be. The WiFi is abysmal (averaging 0.2 mbps from a few speed tests). The beds are worn and uncomfortable. The bathroom was in disrepair (the knob was coming undone, the shower drain was slow). The carpets were rather dingy and dirty. The pool and hot tub area were closed, though the hotel across the street has theirs open. Worst of all is you can hear EVERYTHING! From every car that rolls down the street to each person playing at the pool at the hotel next door, you're in for rough nights if you stay here. They offer earplugs and tea to compensate, but this came off as a signal of "hey, we know our hotel is awful, but here's some paltry items to hopefully make it less awful." I definitely will not stay here again nor would I recommend it to anybody else.

Great bed and linens, and very clean room
I really loved this motel. The room was very, very clean. The bed was super comfy and the sheets and spread were white and welcoming. Come with fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. I was very impressed. What a bargain for the room level.

Brief but enjoyable stay!
I was visiting Moab for just a couple of days on a solo road trip, and I found Bowen Motel to be an excellent place to stay. The location is great and provides easy access to nearby businesses, national parks, and other attractions. It is right on the main strip, which can sometimes be noisy, but I experienced no such issues during my stay.

Basic motel room, clean, ice machine, mini fridge, microwave, cable TV, provide rags to clean your mountain bike or hiking shoes, earplugs, friendly desk staff, easy check in. Allowed my daughter early check in and didn't charge me for it - this was Thanksgiving weekend 2020; Covid time.
