Amazing Location and Amenities
The Pines was much more than we expected in the most delightful ways! We made last minute reservations and were able to get a King Chalet for an extremely reasonable price and an even a very affordable pet deposit so our little dog could stay with us. The location is beautiful and has everything we needed. Two restaurants and bars, a hot tub, friendly staff and a short distance to Yosemite. We could not have asked for more :)

We had a great time!
The chalet we stayed in was great! It was clean and so cozy. The lemon blueberry pancakes were so yummy at Ducey's. Their breakfast food was the best the other food was just ok. The atmosphere was lovely! The people were friendly and it was nice having a market to get things you might need. Our stay was great and we will be back!

Book a chalet and never miss your home
Resort by the lake.. friendly front desk staff.. Chalet rooms are very comfy and private. Gives a home-like feel. Good to stay with family and friends. Kids had a good time hanging around and exploring the resort.

Love this lodge in the middle of the woods, very unique. Parking in front of lodge. Heating in lodge if needed. Lodge has everything you need. My only complaint was the noisy fan in the bathroom when light was on.
Overall resort was lovely, reception staff helpful, shop, pub and restaurant on site. Pool and hot tub next to the lake was a great add.

While still an 1.5hr from Yosemite Valley this was a great location to stay to travel into the park. We stayed three nights and went into the park for two whole days.
Ducey’s restaurant had an a la carte option downstairs and a tavern style restaurant upstairs. We went upstairs and there were plenty of meal options at a reasonable price.
The cabins are rustic, lots of timber and mountain detail. Two storey, bedroom and bathroom downstairs and kitchen and living area upstairs with a fold out sofa. There was a wood fire place but we just used the air conditioner. Kitchen met basic requirements. The deck was a lovely spot to eat and enjoy the serenity.
Lake levels were very low in winter and the pool wasn’t an option. I think the location would be more impressive in summer and the rooms felt a little tired but still provided rustic charm.
General store and fuel available near reception.
