My dog and I had a wonderful stay! This hotel is conveniently located about 30min from the Yosemite park entrance. It is a cute, safe little town. The front desk staff was very kind. The biggest bonus was that it was dog friendly! It was so sweet they left two dog biscuits on the bed even. The complimentary coffee and pastry in the morning was a thoughtful touch. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Yosemite! Perfect location, clean and safe!

Super Cute and great sleep! Slept in #14 upstairs. So quiet I could hear the frogs in the creek out back. Everything was clean and the owners were super accommodating. Great location for jumping into Yosemite!
Didn't have a chance to try the restaurant but did have a cocktail and dinner across the street at California's oldest tavern!
All this while I charged my car in the park down the street.
I highly recommend this town, hotel if you are looking for a cute hotel to stay in before or during your visit to Yosemite!

A wonderful experience. Relived the old western mining town hotel with modernized comforts. Room was clean, bathroom had the old time legged bathtub, Room had heat, TV, Wi-Fi, comfortable bed, good lighting arrangement and plenty of power outlets. Room small so don't expect to use for a desk requirement. Proprietor was overly friendly and helpful. Will stay again if I travel to Groveland. Historical I rate an A

The owner was amazing and the room was so perfect! We loved the bath tub and definitely made use of it. I will use this hotel every time I need to stay in Groveland. It’s so historic. So beautiful. So amazing. I have zero complaints about this place.

Won’t get this level of personable service anywhere else. Fin, the owner/manager, was very friendly and accommodating. Rates were very reasonable. Stay was clean and comfortable. Location was convenient and close to Yosemite. Multiple EV charging stations are within a short walk. Will stay again for our next Yosemite is it.
