Great little boutique hotel!
This hotel was surprisingly cute, with great accommodations for our whole family. The suite worked really well for our 3 older kids, and it was great to have a pet friendly room available. Very comfy beds, nice bathrooms. There are lovely common areas (indoor and out) and really quaint bar with lots of seating - all of which make this more like a B&B than a regular hotel. The hotel also had great covid-safety measures in place with sanitizer, gloves, and reminders for guests throughout the hotel. The self serve coffee bar was great, and the microwaves and toasters in the common area made our meals a possibility even though we were social distancing. Thank you for a great stay and we will definitely be back!

You should stay here too!
Beautiful old hotel. Owners are super helpful. Thoughtful touches. Nice bar. Well set up for the pandemic. Great location if you're staying outside Yosemite. I'll definitely be returning after the pandemic.

Neat place to stay
Staff very friendly. Very clean. Staying here felt like staying wit relatives very warm feeling about the place. It was like stepping back in time into the old west. Not too far from Yosemite. And a bonus we found Waldo.

Basic and Comfortable
While I will likely look for other accommodations on the next trip to this area, I found the Hotel Charlotte to be comfortable and quiet for a restful nights sleep. There are no "extras" here; it is very basic. That said, I felt this establishment was over-priced.

Fabulous Western Hospitality!
We stayed 3 nights here while visiting Yosemite. It is the perfect place to stay while visiting the park! This historical hotel is quaint and beautiful. The owners have done an amazing job. I highly recommend room 14- end of the hall upstairs- quiet, amazingly comfortable bed, and overall room. This hotel was spotlessly clean, and observed all COVID measures. We loved chatting with Brennen, the owner, who has definitely persevered through this challenging time of small business ownership! Our only regret was to not be able to eat at the restaurant here , they are opening back up in a few weeks and it sounds amazing.
The Mexican restaurant next door is great; Two Guys Pizza is great; and Around the Horn brewery also great! We shopped for groceries at the grocery store in town and it had everything we needed.
Groveland was 5 stars all around and I can’t wait to come back!!
