Great place. Beautiful cabins, with excellent Wifi and - bless them! - plenty of electrical outlets and USB plugs. My brother and I shared a 2-bedroom cabin, and our friends had a 1-bedroom. All very clean, and beautifully sited, surrounded by trees. We ate in the restaurant both nights we were there, and the food was excellent, the staff friendly. So, as for the facility itself, it's an easy 5 stars. What brings it down is the location - a long windy road, and rather than being 'just outside the park' - it is a good 45 minutes or more to the park entrance from there. If you're going to the Yosemite Valley Lodge, allow more than an hour. We had booked the Valley Floor Tour - we left Evergreen at 8.35 for a 10am start; managed to miss the turn for the Lodge the first time and had to go around the 1-way loop again: the sad result is we missed our tour by 2 minutes. My friend and I were already in the bus, my brother and my friend's husband were just crossing the parking lot; it was 10.02, and the driver wouldn't wait for the men to get there. We had to get off the bus and missed our tour. No refund, of course; they had said they're strict about timeliness, and boy, did they mean it. The kick in the teeth was that TripAdvisor wouldn't let me leave a review for the tour, presumably because we had missed it. The lady at Yosemite Lodge was unhelpful - she could have told us about the shuttle bus. The shuttle bus was great, once we found it, and we still managed to see the sites in the park. All in all, it was a good day. Back to England!

An amazing place for exploring Yosemite and the surrounding area. We had snow which made it even more magical. The staff were all friendly and helpful and the cabin was excellent with all mod cons. The drive down to Yosemite was incredible and worth the effort of the journey!

We loved the cabin in the woods atmosphere, along with the cozy and well maintained room. The nightly smores were a highlight, and the the onsite restaurant provided tasty and hearty grub after a full day exploring Yosemite. We joined a full day tour of Yosemite Valley with Tyler, and had an amazing time learning from such a passionate guide.

Evergreen Lodge is a hidden gem nestled in seclusion and close to Yosemite national Park!My husband and I stayed for six nights in February 2024. The cabins are tastefully decorated with all the amenities such as Keurig coffee makers, high-speed Wi-Fi, Alexa speaker, refrigerator and games. The resort grounds offer tons of fun to include a gigantic place structure, horseshoes, bocce ball and a zip line. If that's not enough fun, the game room and lodge, have pool tables, shuffleboard, ping-pong tables and even more games. If you rather relax, the rustic lodge setting is a great place to read a book next to a fire. The historic restaurant and tavern are amazing, serving up delicious food and lots of it for a great price. The pool and hot tub are perfectly maintained and are great after a long days hike either in the valley or at Hetch Hetchy, which has an entrance conveniently located five minutes from this property. I would like to thank the entire staff for their professionalism and excellent service during our stay. Keep up the great work!Tom and KB at the front desk were extremely helpful when we decided to extend our stay and they even found a way to let us stay in the cabin that we already had. I would recommend this property to everyone, especially those who have a sense of adventure. Just BOOK IT, you will not be disappointed!
