Evergreen Lodge at Yosemite

Idyllic! Added to our amazing visit to Yosemite. A perfect, tranquil place to stay in devine mountain cabins.

We were fortunate to be upgraded to a Deluxe suite which is spacious, beautifully presented, private and peaceful. The king bed was comfortable. An hour’s drive from Yosemite.
Our welcome was wonderful as were all the staff we met. Courteous, helpful and accommodating.
We ate in the restaurant each night which was so easy. The complimentary smores around the fire pit was a real hit!
Such a wonderful complex with so much to do and enjoy. Get out to the sunset viewing point or sit on your deck with a wine. Perfect after a day in Yosemite.

Best property we've ever stayed at with our family

Boy did Evergreen Lodge at Yosemite not disappoint. By far the best family oriented property we've ever stayed at with multiple outdoor play areas (including a legit zipline), hiking trails, disc golf, heated pool with an unbelievable view, nightly smores to wind down with snuggles by the fire. The restaurant had options perfect for all of our pallets and being in a cabin with such a beautiful setting of peace & quiet surrounding us was heavenly. Our visit is one we'll never forget and recommend to all our family & friends.

A Magical Forest Retreat with Heartfelt Hospitality

We stayed in Tent 4, and were lucky to be the very first guests in their brand new tents with fresh beds—and they were so comfortable. Every day, the beds were perfectly made with extra warm blankets just as we’d asked, which made returning after long hikes such a cozy treat.
From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed and cared for. The staff here are something truly special—warm, helpful, funny, and attentive in a way that’s rare these days. The front desk team went above and beyond, always ready with a kind word and incredibly helpful advice about hikes and park logistics. We especially appreciated Bob, John, and Emily at the rec center who gave us great hiking tips and were such a joy to chat with.
The restaurant was another highlight. The food was absolutely delicious—every meal exceeded expectations. And when a small mix-up happened with our order, it was handled with such grace and generosity that we left even more impressed.
The campfires at night, complete with free s’mores baggies, added that magical camp atmosphere that made our stay unforgettable. We also enjoyed the saltwater pool and hot tub—a healthier and much-appreciated alternative to chlorinated water—and the clean, well-stocked bathrooms were another big plus.
The location couldn’t be better—just a 15-minute drive from Yosemite’s entrance, yet tucked away enough to feel like a serene retreat in the forest.
We can’t recommend Evergreen Lodge highly enough. It’s a place where you’ll feel genuinely cared for, surrounded by people who love what they do and make you feel like family. We’re already dreaming of coming back.

We spent one long day in Yosemite valley and the rest of the time at the lodge. It’s a great base for people who want to hike and explore but still want some minor luxuries.

Tranquility

As a disabled person with a bad back , these were VERY uncomfortable. Other than the beds , I think everything else was perfect. Maybe a little pricey on the food at the resturaunt but I get why it is expensive.
