Literally, you can't beat this place! I have been several times, and am sitting on the deck of my cabin writing this review. Location, cabin quality, pool and hot tub, staff friendliness, and just the ease of being here. It's great for friend groups, including groups of friends with kids, as the pool and all the stuff to do nearby keeps the kids going. Amazingly, it also doesn't feel taken over by kids! On this trip, I am alone with the husband and got to sit at the pool for some quiet time yesterday and it felt great (as did the excellent rose available at the poolside bar). You are so close to Yosemite (both the main entrance and super close to the Hetch Hetchy entrance), and also sweet nearby hikes the rec staff here can guide you to. the restaurant, store, and even massages available make it a perfect place. I will keep coming back!

So close to Yosemite you can almost touch it. Modern resort with wonderful pool area and activities for the kids like zip line and game room. Game room could use some TLC (pool table was missing a bumper which honestly for the money struck me as unusual but kids are hard on things). Onsite restaurant was super slow but every meal was good and the staff attentive and super apologetic. I did not visit the bar but it was hopping and large. Room was cozy and modern and had a little patio overlooking the woods. Free s’mores by the activity lodge each night was the perfect way to end the day. We did Evergreen’s Yosemite tour, tour guide was great and packed in all the highlights. Given how crowded the park was it was great not having to worry about parking site to site

Evergreen is the best!

Been visiting Evergreen in summer for years. Staff is great, gorgeous setting, super fun for all ages. Like a home away from home. Highly recommend. Even if you can't budget a stay, visit the restaurant and tavern for a uniquely vintage Yosemite area vibe.

Okay, it's a level above camping, just, I booked the spacious Deluxe Cabins for a romantic weekend away. The charming cast iron gas fireplace did not work. Actually, nothing worked, including in room speaker and Wi-Fi. The restaurant food starter was okay, but the main course steak was horrific and not possible to eat!, hard to make a steak so bad. No staff in the bar to take order, Evergreen tries hard to make horrid time but they can succeed!.

Second trip here this time with grown adult children- by far my favorite place to stay in Yosemite. It's rustic but high quality, close to nature and feels wild but comfortable. We stayed in the 2 bedroom ADA cottage. Cabin inside is totally accessible with a ramp and ADA friendly bathroom. Facilities itself are ok for wheelchairs but a manual user like me needs help, uneven terrain and some steep ramps near restaurant but overall really good. Great restaurant and game room. Yosemite valley totally accessible for my trike. Highly recommend.
