We loved this lodge. Great for families. Lots of activities and games on the property. About a 40 minute drive from Yosemite valley but it was nice to get out of the crowds and bank to our little oasis at the end of the day.

We stayed for 2 nights. The lodge is well maintained, clean, with friendly and helpful staff.
Masks are required and sanitizers are everywhere. The location is 10 minutes to Yosemite entrance and 20 minutes to Hetch Hetchy. Yet it’s set in the woods and offers awesome peaceful experience.
The property has plenty to do onsite for kids and adults (play structures, zip lines, nightly s’mores, bocce, table tennis, pool, hot tub etc). The nature trail around the property was also beautiful. We also liked the on-site restaurant.
Our deluxe cabin was right next to sunset point and we had deer visit us!
Definitely recommend and will stay again.

BEST stay of my lifetime
The saddest thing about my trip to Yosemite was underestimating how great Evergreen Lodge was. I planned like this was any other hotel. In reality it is closer to an amazing resort tucked down a winding road near the entrance to Yosemite. From checkin to checkout it was a breathtaking experience.
On checkin I was directed to my cabin and told to perhaps stop for a cocktail on my way. The grounds and buildings are flawless. The drink selection was LOVELY as was the impressively diverse and well executed food.
Later in the evening I snagged a bag of the complimentary smore supplies and sat in front of a crackling fire roasting smores for myself.
Next in the night I meandered down the dark grounds to the hot tub. A beautiful pool setup with a large hot tub allowed me to make other friends as I was traveling solo. The communal areas are absolutely impeccably maintained.
Finally the new friends and I returned to the main area to sit amongst the many fires they leave lit and stocked for you throughout the night. The smell of cedar was absolutely wonderful.
The next morning I showered up and headed to the main lodge where they had arts and crafts. Not exactly my goal, but the dedicated guide posted there handed me a number of maps and helped me decide what my hike for that day was to be (I did Hetch Hetchy and it was marvelous).
All in all the trip was amazing. The stars were breathtaking and this place.. this place I will return to and plan a longer stay to indulge in all the wonders. At night it gets dark away from the fires so bring a light and be sure to use the soap and conditioner on sight - the scent was so wonderous I rewashed my beard before leaving so my mask would be inundated with the joyful aroma. It is so popular they sell it in the store! OH! The store has a wonderful beer selection too so don't fret if you run dry. The morning latte from the full coffee shop was just what I needed to send me on my way.
I sincerely can't suggest this place enough. Treat yourself and see why my review is so glowing

Fabulous Winter Getaway
Had a fantastic long weekend here visiting Yosemite in early March! From check-in to dining to buying coffee to asking for hiking advice, the employees here were incredibly kind, welcoming and resourceful. We initially reserved a 1-bedroom cabin, but were upgraded to a deluxe cabin (for free!) upon check in due to availability. The staff gave great recommendations for hiking, particularly at the nearby Hetch Hetchy site. The barista in the giftshop provided a great caffeine addition to our stay. Salt water pool and hot tub were relaxing after long days of hiking. Wifi was good in the cabins. Covid precautions were taken very seriously, with masks and distancing enforced. We felt very safe and had a relaxing experience in nature with comforting amenities. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone and will plan to stay here again when we come back to Yosemite in the future.

Wonderful Base to Explore Yosemite
I’ve been meaning to write this review for a while. My family spent 5 nights at the Evergreen last July and we loved it. We stayed in a 2 BR cabin right by the zip line, which our kids were on as much as possible. Despite Covid restrictions the vibe was relaxing and fun. We liked the food (though the service was super slow), the fire pits, the pool, and the little store. The concierge was extremely helpful answering questions about how to plan our hikes with the kids. Most important, it’s fairly convenient to the park entrance.
