The lobby staff was very friendly and accommodating. The hotel is in a good location, within walking distance to downtown Jackson. The pool area is nice and with 2 hot tubs we never had to worry about over crowding. We had a ground level 2/Queen room. The noise from the room above was hard to ignore. It wasn’t the footsteps & normal walking traffic that happens in a room, it was the water pipes that run down the walls. Anytime the shower was being used or the toilet flushed it was so loud in our room.

Wonderful stay in Jackson.

My wife and I stayed here for 10 nights in august and we loved it. The room was very clean, staff was super friendly and very helpful. We stayed in the older building and we could hear the people above us moving around but that’s not the staffs fault. We’ll stay here again! Thanks elk country inn!

Disappointing.

I thought we’d be in the main building. I should have read the reviews more carefully. We were in another very outdated building; they were doing mold remediation. Cutting vacation short. Very misleading. Just make sure you reserve the main building. It was only twenty dollars more a night but they didn’t have any rooms or we would have gladly paid the extra twenty. Definitely not worth the price.

Only average, but very expensive

Ok, this review is pretty difficult to write, because the price we paid did not at all reflect the room. The pictures online show the new elegant stone building, but what you get is an old room in a back building that is dark and decades old. I know Jackson is expensive, but at $400+ a night, I don't want to feel like I'm spending the night at a $100 Best Western from the 80s? Generally, the room was clean, the carpets ok, but everything could use some lightning up. The room was so dark and the yellow shades didn't help to provide light. We did enjoy the fluffy large towels though, which is uncommon to get a big sized one. We also loved that they reuse the older towels for cleaning gear etc. They do provide breakfast, which is nice, but everything is packed in plastic and not very eco friendly. I'm not sure I would give this one another go at that price range without any updates to the standard rooms.

This was okay

First, the newly part of the hotel that is remodeled is stunning, but too bad our room was in the older section. The room smelled musty and for the price of over $300 a night, this was far from luxury. I am not a complainer at all- but for the price they are asking for, it's a scam. I would not recommend this place to others unfortunately. Won't be back. *The staff were great!
