Nice, clean,quiet and great location.
I stayed two nights in June, 2022. The lodge offers enough amenities for a pleasant
trip. The room was clean and offered all needed; refrigerator, microwave and flat screen with lots of channels. The best feature is the view and locality. I had a couple meals at the Anasazi. They were pretty good, not great. As are many businesses they seem to be understaffed but employees were doing their best. I have stayed here before and hope to do so again.

Don't count on 4:00 pm check in
We stayed in a family unit the first of July 2021. They had adequate room and were furnished ok?(2 cups for a 3 bedroom unit among other things) and clean. The problem was we had planned to cook dinner as we had read the restaurant, the only restaurant in this very remote location was not so great. We arrived at 3:40 and were told by a snotty receptionist that check is was not until 4. I said, "no problem, Ill be back in 20 minutes." I came back at 4 and was told that there are only 3 house keeper today and they had not yet cleaned the unit and there was no estimate on time. (I SHOULD HAVE READ THE REVIEWS BECAUSE THIS IS VERY COMMON, so shame on me for even trying to cook and stay here). So I wait an hour and a half in my family's hotel room(their check in was on time). Went back, sorry not done yet. Finally I tell the manager we had planned to cook for my family that was staying in the hotel, (13 people in all) but would not be able to do so as my trailer was not ready. I asked if they could comp us a meal since there was no check in in sight. We were offered 3 free appetizers and a dessert but no way a meal. Manager gets ahold of housekeeping and says our promised time would be 1 hour. It took an hour and a half to get the room.
Bottom line we received our room 3 hours after the promised time. no meal. 100 degree heat. Paid over $300 for the unit. If Aramark did not have a monopoly service would hopefully be better. DON"T expect to check in on time in a family unit and do NOT expect good service!!

Worst stay ever and rude staff!
Absolutely horrible!! We arrived late at night and there were 0 directions as to where the cabin was. No map no nothing. We walked around for an hour trying to figure out where the cabin was. Then figured out that the cabin was down the street but it was locked! They were supposed to leave the keys in the cabin but didn't. I called the front desk manager TJ who was extremely annoyed that he had to come down and give us the keys to the cabin and had an attitude. They have made no attempt to make this right and have a do not care attitude. Will never stay there again and would definitely not recommend. The sad thing is that the staff could care less that we had to search for our room in the dark for over an hour which was awful because we just drove 5 hours to get there and had little kids with us.

Great little vacation!
We loved this spot! Great views, room was super clean. Staff was wonderful (thank you JT for everything!)
My only suggestions are have extra supplies in the room since the front desk hours are limited. Also the outside of the property could use some attention. We had a new puppy and there was a lot of trash and dog poo around for him to get into.
All and all it was beautiful and we can’t wait to come back.

We had room #1221, top floor, overlooking the lake. Convenient to stairs and outside door. The room was immaculate and well-appointed with microwave, fridge, toiletries and plenty of space. The front desk personnel were so friendly and accommodating. Food was excellent in the Anasazi restaurant, service was "off" one night, but the other times for dinner and breakfast, service was great. Shout out to Anna and Sarah in the restaurant. You ladies were so nice and helpful!!
