I pulled into Bullfrog late at night/early (4am) after driving all night. The staff was friendly and made a room available at a minutes notice. The room was clean and quiet. I was able to get a good few hours of sleep before heading out on the lake for an epic weekend! Great place to stay to recharge or clean up after a "camping" experience on the Lake.

We chose Bullfrog Marina on our way from Grand Staircase Escalante / Capitol Reef to San Rafel Swell due to the perfect location. We're no water sport enthusiasts, so we cannot give any feedback on the watersports amenities of Bullfrog Marina. The Lodge itself was good. Friendly staff at the reception. We've had a 1st floor room with a king size bed, that has been clean and spacious. We enjoyed the opportunity to sit outside in the eveneing. Adjacent restaurant was good, but staff seemed a little confused, problably due to a planned power outage on that evening. All in all, we'd recommend Defiance House Lodge for staying at Bullfrog Marina.

We’ve stayed at the hotel many times but this was the first time we stayed in the family unit. It was nice to have us all together but the units are run down. Hopefully they do a makeover soon. The beds did not have headboards so we kept hitting the blinds while sleeping. There is a note on the door that says if you would like your room cleaned and fresh towels to call front desk and let them know. We did that but our room was never cleaned and we didn’t have fresh towels. This was a huge disappointment. I spoke with one of the cleaning ladies and luckily we got there just before they left for the evening. She apologized and said they are too busy to clean the family units and to let management know. She was able to provide me clean fresh towels though which was nice.

Everything great EXCEPT for the family units and their new shuttle system schedule

we've been coming here for years always saying the family unit always come several times a year. We just returned today...their shuttle system is insane now they have one maybe two and you can't call they just make their rounds we waited for over an hour one day at executive services at the marina...The family units are getting dirtier and more disgusting by the second... the carpets desperately need changed the chairs they put in a few years back are cloth they are disgusting... faux leather couch is good cuz you can easily disinfectant wipe it down bugs and all the beds I don't think it's due to housekeeping I think it's due to the poor seal on the windows the AC unit barely worked this time and it's not even the hot time of year! The kitchen services are cleaned but if you open anything like the oven you would never cook something in there... There was a total fire hazard ....(I think those stoves are from the 70s) the top burner did not shut off and it was on all night even though it said off! very very disappointed....not to mention we stayed five nights with a family of 5 and they gave us a total of six towels for five people for five nights! constantly had to be asking for new towels new toilet paper etc not smart management. they shouldn't service as family units just like they do daily for the hotel no excuse for that... the restaurant used to be such a favorite for us to go to they reduce the menu to half the size and raise the prices... $19 for a chicken Caesar salad? Really? $25 for stir-fry that doesn't even have steak or chicken or shrimp in it??? early in the season and they ran out of Chardonnay the first night?? I don't know who is taking over but the place is very much lacking sad bc used to be our favorite place to go
