Great room let down by a dreadful breakfast
We were only staying here one night so we could look at what had happened to London Bridge and this hotel is ideal for that. We arrived late in the evening and when we entered the lobby were met by a replica of the British Gold Coronation Coach — the original is in the Royal Mews at Buckingham Palace and was built in the 1700s. The reception staff as were all the other staff we met were extremely friendly and helpful. Our room was on the 1st floor and consisted of a kitchen/dining room area with table and chairs, seating area by the window with flat screen TV. The kitchen area consisted of large fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave and hob. There were also plenty of plates, glasses and utensils. There was an ice dispensing machine at the end of the corridor. The bedroom was on the smallish side with no windows but comfortable with a queen sized bed and off that was the en-suite bathroom with a shower over the bath. There was plenty of toiletries, soap, towels and a hair dryer. The Wi-fi worked well.as did the air con as it was 115f outside. Everything was very clean As the name implies this is a resort hotel with a swimming pool , fitness centre, separate water slide, bars, separate water volleyball area and the back of the hotel directly overlooks London Bridge which is about 300 yards away. However what lets the hotel down is the quality of the breakfast. To call them basic would be complimenting basic. The breakfasts are served in a separate area at the Splash Grill across a courtyard opposite the rear of the hotel. The grill is quite small with wooden chairs and tables. The breakfast is buffet style with everything served on plastic plates with plastic cutlery. There was a fresh fruit salad, scrambled eggs which were tasteless and very dry, sausages, tamales.coffee and juices. There was also a toasting machine for bread but they had run out of english muffins when we arrived. The whole thing was totally unappetising and just poor quality. Obviously if we were staying for longer we would have probably had provided our own breakfast in our room but my advice if you are going to stay there one night find somewhere off property to have breakfast.

Nice place, in the center of the attractions.
Nice resort, right on the Bridgewater Channel. Lots of activities and shopping around. An on-site restaurant and bar with more restaurants nearby. Three pools, and a nice beach and walking path. It's very hot this time of the year, so be advised.

We went to Lake Havasu to get away from the Phoenix heat. Who knew it was even hotter here. Despite the heat, we had a wonderful relaxing week. The hotel staff all seem to genuinely enjoy their jobs and always stop and say hello and ask if they can help. They make the guest feel like family or friends and truly appreciated. Even though it was well over 100 degrees the pool was refreshing and we spent several hours there every day.

Avoid This Place!!
We purchased a 2 night/3 day stay for this "resort" at a Home Show in Las Vegas NV. When purchasing the package we specifically asked if we had to sit through any presentations or time shares. We were repeatedly guaranteed there would be nothing of the sort. They only want us to come and have a great time to be able to tell others about our stay. They called us in early August and offered an additional night/day stay for free if we booked a check in on certain dates later that month. The dates worked with our schedule and we were able to schedule the extra day.
Pro: Easy to find. Room Clean upon Arrival. Nice sized room. Continental Breakfast included with room. Multiple pools. Water Slides. Cute shopping close by. Helpful concierge.
Safety Concerns: All Windows were unlocked and slightly opened upon arrival. Door to hallway in bedroom was cracked around the lock. Main door to room totally cracked down center around lock. At craft activities and in the restaurant/ bar frequently asked for our room number from staff OR our room number was just announced out loud for all to hear. No concern for others listening in or guest safety. On 2nd day of stay, at 940AM had loud knocking on our door. When looking through peep hole male was turning head and looking away while banging on door. Called the front desk to inquire about it, they had no record of anyone coming to our room. While on phone with front desk, the person tried to open the door to come in. Thankfully it was locked. Nobody came in. Called later and said it was maintenance. We did not have any maintanence requests in at that time.
Cons: Pushed to have us sit through their 'ownership' (aka timeshare) presentation several times. Hard sell to get us to attend. No hot water, only warm water in kitchenette, bathroom sink and shower. The water was not hot enough for husband to shave. Informed the front desk who asked maintenance to come check it out. When the maintenance guy came he said "just have to force it" and hit the bathroom sink faucet a few times for it to get warm. In bathtub, when turning on the water get strong sewer smell with water. Bathroom door did not close, needed serious attention. Informed front desk, that day maintenance guy came to look at it. After lots of discussion decided we would be fine and they would fix the door after our check out. While dining at the restaurant onsite, the power went out. Our server informed us the generator should be turning on any minute and the owner was there at the bar. Heard him calling to see if the power bill had been paid. After 1.5 hrs the power came back on. Got to eat in the dark with no AC or candles/flashlights. Initially told was the whole area. Later learned it was not the whole area it was just that location.
When checking out my husband again expressed the concerns we had about our experience. He asked to talk with the manager, and was told she was busy or on the phone.
We do not recommend coming here until they do major updates to the plumbing and seriously improve their safety policies for their guests.
