At $200 a night and advertised as a luxury campsite, my experience was terrible! First, the check-in procedures were a mess. We were supposed to receive an email with instructions 24 hours prior to our stay, but it wasn’t emailed until 3:30 pm that day, and we didn't receive it until the morning after our stay due to limited cell service issues near Glacier National Park. The gravel road leading to the camp was rough and poorly marked, making it difficult to find our way. We arrived not knowing which tent site was ours, and nobody answered the phone number listed. There is no host office on-site either. Fortunately, we ran into the host when we stopped by another campsite to ask for advice. The tent sites were small and overgrown, with some lacking space to park a car. Useless lanterns that don’t work were provided instead of lights, and they never provided a list of items to bring, leaving us completely unprepared for our stay. The shower trailers were filthy, with only cold water and no towels available. The eating area was in an overgrown meadow requiring wading through tall grass to reach. The tent sites lacked fire pits or grill areas, making it impossible to enjoy a campfire. There aren't any trash bins on-site (not even the bear-proof bins found everywhere else in the area). We were advised to keep our trash in our car and take it with us. While the beds in the tents were a saving grace, they couldn't make up for the lack of amenities at this site. Wander Camp is far from “glamping near America’s National Parks”; it felt more like roughing it in the wilderness without considering guest comfort. Save your money and opt for a basic campground with better amenities.

We had the most amazing time in Montana this week. It’s beautiful beyond words and the people and adventures were awesome. The only negative was where we stayed. The cabin itself wasn’t awful but looks nothing like the pictures online. You can’t walk and explore around the lake or cabin because there are zero trails to get to it. We couldn’t use the hot tub because it was dirty and the grass was 3ft high all the way around it with no walking path. There was no where to sit and relax outside with my family because the sewer sits right by the picnic table area and obviously that wasn’t one of the campfire stories that we wanted to share. He also failed to mention that the cabin we stayed in is also where EVERYONE checks in with the host upon arrival so we had multiple people trying to come in our front door several times in the few days we were there because apparently the host “lives” in the lower level of the cabin but her door is not visible and there are no signs regarding where to go. The cleaner, maintenance guy and host were in and out multiple times a day to the lower level for work so there was no privacy for us and nonstop traffic between them and other campers. On Monday, the host greeted other guests and walked around in only a flannel (hopefully underwear underneath) and my daughter (7yrs) saw her bare butt bent over while she grabbed her drying laundry off the picnic table outback. 😳 There are multiple black wires laying around the cabin for you to trip over and random trash and objects scattered around. The inside is fine but overall it’s just not well cared for and not worth the money to stay there. So many other places to stay that offer more and you don’t have to worry about the lack of safety or privacy. I gave two stars because the inside wasn’t that bad.

This place is a dangerous scam. For them to charge $200 nightly and advertise all of the amenities, you can have a better experience down the road at the KOA for a fraction of the price. The entirety of my stay, they refused to refund me. As a solo female traveler, safety is of the utmost importance to me. I paid a premium price to not have to worry about certain amenities camping- instead I spent my stay filled with anxiety and feeling incredibly unsafe. -no parking for some tents -no bear trash cans -people throwing away food in unsecured trash cans in the bathrooms - in grizzly country and in 90 degree heat (the smell was gag inducing) -unable to shower or use the toilet without wanting to throw up for the smell- this was very different from normal outdoor toilets. This was the smell of rancid food -(Wander Camp tells guests to throw away food in their “secure” trash cans and to not keep in tents- however the only trash cans provided were flimsy plastic track cans with the hanging flippy lids in the bathrooms behind flimsy doors) -all showers broken -toilets overflowing -rug inside tent rotting -zero staff on site for the entirety of my stay -Gaslighting and condescending customer service -they advertise convening space- it’s a few picnic table in knee-high grass

Our two nights at Wander Camp Glacier June 2024, provided us with extraordinarily comfy beds and beautiful views. However...there was no potable water available on site and with the distance from town and the poor condition of the approach road we found this unacceptable. And there was no mention of the lack of drinking water in the notes sent. Showers varied whimsically between scalding & freezing. Communication was difficult & there was a lack of parking at our site. We ended up spending lots of time shuffling cars to accommodate our nearby tent neighbors. We were charged over $200/night. Terrible value.

HORRIBLE *DO NOT BOOK* with them! I don't even know where to start. It was one bad thing after the other. 1. The road up is potholes galore!! You better have good tires and you will likely need your vehicle balanced upon return home! 2. There is NO water. NO water. You can't flush the toilet, you can't wash your hands, you can't shower (not like you'd want to shower in that filth). Going #1 or #2 on other people's #1 or #2 is NOT sanitary! I'm so disappointed we booked 4 nights no way we stayed there after a few hours we left! I got sick (surprise, surprise), my 71 year old mother got sick and my 8 year old son. Just waiting for it to hit my 81 year old dad. We have a long trek back to MN and they just ruined our trip glaciers national park - a trip of a lifetime- ruined! 3. They are liars! I contacted orbitz to complain that evening we got to the campsite - they lied and said the water had been fixed! No it was not!!! We even went back the next morning to check and it was not!! I took video of it all! (It's hard to show via screenshots- but I have video proof if anyone needs it). 4. You can hear the train all night long. If you try and fall asleep that will wake you up immediately. It's startling!
