We spent three nights at Under Canvas in Bryce Canyon. It was our first time with Under Canvas, the second visit to Bryce Canyon. The tent we had (stargazer) was very comfortable, clean, and close to the dining area. The staff were incredible - you can ask them to bring a bag of ice for your cooler or a lululemon yoga mat and blocks, and they will come in just a few minutes. Eric, who showed us the camp site was friendly and knowledgeable. Savannah and Benjamin who served the guests in the dining area were working long hours, but always with a smile. They were gracious and friendly, even when some European guests were irritated about the peculiarities of Utah drinking laws. The only downside is that it is a bit far from other dining options (not that there are many in the area). The drive to the park is about 15 minutes, so not far, but my husband would have liked it to be 5 miles closer. He also would have liked a separate bar! Overall, we had a great experience and would recommend it to couples of families looking for a gramping experience in Bryce.

Don’t miss the Under Canvas experience : it is unique, you are in the middle of nowhere in beautifully arranged tents, with all the comfort you need. Super staff, even showing you the moon and stars with a telescope at night ! And marshmallows by the fire to end your day !! Try or you might regret it :-)

Trip and stay was amazing. Camping with style. Nice remote but accessible area close to National Park.

Service was great, accommodations were good, location was awesome, rooms were nice. Shower was a little tricky and not my favorite (you had to pull a lever for running water, so the water was constantly being turned on and off). I’m sure this is to conserve water, but some way to keep the water on during my whole shower would be preferable. Beds were comfy but really “creaky” I toss and turn a lot and it was very loud. We had a great time, but after food, drinks, taxes, fees, our stay for 1 night for 2 people was over $600. I would stay at another undercanvas, but only if it was less expensive. I would pay $300-$400, all in, for one night and be happy with the value.

Food experience was fantastic -- David, the food director, was exceptionally nice and knowledgeable; Ben, the server, was kind and efficient; and the food was delicious. Tent was very comfortable. Waking up in the morning was magical given the beauty of the surroundings.
