We needed a place for 1 night before heading into Sequoia National Park and this place fit the bill perfectly! It’s an older motel but everything is well maintained, clean and in working order. Our room had plenty of room for 2 adults. The bathroom was a bit small but usable. The fridge and microwave were very much appreciated. The wall unit A/C was not user friendly but I eventually figured it out so the fan ran constantly and kept the room comfortable. The bed was comfortable and we slept fine. Though the road was sort of nearby, we did not hear it with the A/C unit fan running constantly. They have an outdoor pool but we did not use it. We paid $160 for the night including all taxes/fees. A great value for the area and highly recommended!

Breakfast provided???

“Lazy J” is misnamed! Should be “Lazy proprietor”! We have traveled 30 days and stayed in 26 different motel/hotels. Lazy “J” is the only one that advertised breakfast included that in fact didn’t with the “Due to COVID we are unable” excuse. Somehow all others know how to work with the system and provide a breakfast and the “Best Westerns” provide a complete hot meal in San Francisco. This is a big deal as breakfast in Three Rivers California is hard to come by! On the plus side Lazy J Ranch is Clean, convenient & close to the entrance to Sequoia National Park.

This motel is not fancy but has everything you need including a refrigerator, microwave, free WiFi and flat screen TV. Breakfast, continental or otherwise, is not available, but there is a market close by and a number of restaurants. There are farm animals, a pool and a relatively short walk to the river. Staff was helpful and you are about 15 minutes from the entrance to Sequoia NP. Also the a/c worked fine, which was important given the heat outside.

Best place in three rivers to stay.

This place was great! We stayed in a family cottage. This included a kitchen and living room. The room was clean and comfortable. We had a great time down by the pool which was perfect after a day exploring the park. My kids loved seeing the animals that are on the property.

The location is amazing and the little villas are quaint and welcoming. It’s not the Ritz Carlton, but the service is super friendly and accommodating. The place is clean and well stocked. I was thoroughly impressed with the booking process, the kindness of the staff, and the spacious rooms. I would highly recommend this to someone, who is looking to stay close to Sequoia NP and wants a place to relax and play in the pool after a day at the park. There’s even a petting zoo with sheep and goats!
