Booking process was fast and friendly. Answered all my questions efficiently and made appropriate recommendations. Accommodations and amenities were outstanding. Trust the reviews with regards to the staff. 5 star service allaround, friendly, helpful and go above and beyond to ensure your stay is amazing! Entertainment and activities for adults and children are a must do! Food options are limited, so plan ahead and bring a flash light for those late night walks back to your dome. Rooms are decent size, beds are comfortable and showers have great pressure and lots of hot water. We are planning to book again. Our home away from home

What a fantastic set up Clear skys have. It’s a super fun stay with lots for all ages to do. The food truck on site is genius and serves yummy food. Only wish we had been able to stay longer to relax and enjoy all they had to offer

Staff was great! Accommodations were lacking.

The staff were all great! Very helpful and positive. This place had fun cool activities. Enjoyed the night time disc golf course. We stayed in the family dome which seemed very dated. Floor peeling up, discolored floor. Wasn’t the cleanest. Top level carpet was coming up and the exterior seemed old We realize that this is not a 5 star hotel. It shouldn’t be billed as a luxury resort. The food truck was also a bit of a disappointment. The food just wasn’t up to par. I would recommend driving for meals. The concept is is great, but for the price I would expect better conditions.

AMAZING Experience! Would definitely go back!

Clear Sky Resorts was a GREAT experience!!! We had a ton of fun and loved our space-themed dome. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Levi was especially great - he was outgoing and kind and played 9 holes of disc golf with us! Highly recommend this place!! Our kids loved it!

It depends on what you want if you'd like this place.

My husband and I have taken our time thinking about our trip because we knew we'd struggle with this review. We are travelers that are diverse and have stayed all over the world, from the 4 seasons to Best Westerns and cruises. We do camp in Missouri and do river rafting but also love to be pampered. It depends on the type of vacation. We did travel with our kids to Yosemite and Yellowstone over the past 3 years. Our kids are ages 15 and 12. Overall we would not return. The location isn't great due to the best restaurants being in Williams (1/2 hr drive) or in the Grand Canyon at El tovar dining room (45 min drive if no wait at the gate into the grand canyon). We did try the town of Tusayan for restaurants and the places are horrible. We should have stayed in one of the lodges/hotels inside the Grand Canyon and just gotten 2 rooms or toughed it out with a room with 2 queen beds. it would have made the trip easier and cut down on a lot of the drive time. I highly advise to make reservations for El Tovar dining FAR in advance, you can book 30 days out if not staying at the hotel. They do accept walk ins and we were able to get in a couple nice breakfasts towards the end of the breakfast run around 9:30/10. We stayed at clear sky for 5 nights (too long, 3 is plenty). The place is ok, the concept is neat but misses the mark. The rooms had many things not working electrically and you could tell they rushed to put the places together. We stayed in the largest family space cabin that had a bunk bed space capsule on the first floor along with a round queen/king. The upstairs loft was NOT as pictured and we didn't use it since its was too hard to get up and down and the beds were just thrown on the ground. So the kids slept in the space capsule but it got really hot since they didn't wire the plugs correctly and the fan/lights in the capsules didn't work. the bathroom setup was Great since the shower and toilet were in 1 room with the sink outside in another room. This was a plus. The shower did leak but towards the end after 4 people showered. There was enough hot water to have 4 people take showers so this was a plus. The mini fridge is useless. Doesn't keep things cold. We bought a cooler from Walmart and had to keep going to the local gas station for ice each day which was a hassle. There is NO microwave. The food truck was limited on selection. The menu published isn't what they offer for dinner each night, only a portion of the items are available. AND there are only a few nights the food truck is offered. Alcohol selection is a joke, just sodas/beers/malts... not much offered on wine or anything else. They really need to get a dining room/kitchen setup especially with limited food options in the area. The staff are friendly IF you are friendly. This goes with most places we stay. The kids loved the fire pit/smores and the huge trampoline. It was very hard for the family to hang out/play cards in the room since the furniture isn't comfortable. Just 2 space type chairs which are very uncomfortable. They really need a couple normal chairs in the room for families. the safe in the room doesn't work and we complained but nothing was done to help us. yes, we did realize it was not a hotel and glamping but we expected things to be more functional and the place further along on development of the complex.
