Wow! just wow! This place is everything and more. The tents are luxurious and amazing. Super comfortable beds and fully functional bathrooms. We loved "camping" without camping. The base camp had everything we needed - great food, fire pits, s'mores, live music (which Ryan was amazing), games and more. Did I mention the views? They couldn't be more beautiful. But let's talk about the staff. They made the experience! Caroline, Mika, Witten and Sydney went above and beyond. They took care of our every want and need. They were like the best camp counselors ever. We cannot wait to come back and couldn't recommend it any more! We loved it!

Just book - incredible!

If I could give this location a zero, I absolutely would. We had come from Under Canvas Moab where we truly felt like we were at a “small luxury hotel” (minus the A/C and outlets! 🤣) No ice. Staff actually told us to go into town and buy ice. I could have stayed at the cheapest motel in Page, AZ, and had access to free ice. Also, cold towels, an amenity at other Under Canvases, were for staff only. Our shower didn’t work and the fix was ineffective. The porters were useless. When we checked in, late at night, the overnight staff person knew absolutely nothing about the area around us. He didn’t help my children with their luggage. Worse, when we checked out, the porter stood leaning against the golf cart watching us and didn’t lift a finger. The kids’ tent was dirty on arrival and was never refreshed. Sadly, the staff were generally rude. Finally, do not stay here unless you have 4WD high clearance vehicle. It was rough gravel and gave me a headache every time we entered and exited for a full mile.

We made reservations months in advance so when we arrived check in was quick and easy. You park at the edge of the tent area so no worries after check in they take you to your car in a golf cart load your stuff and take you to your tent. These are nice tents no air conditioning but we learn to open both sets of flaps and turn on the misters. The toilet flushes and the shower is heated by propane . The service and the people were delightful. The main tent had snacks and also a restaurant with a limited menu but everything was delicious. I did also notice a handicap accessible tent. We reserved spots at the nearby Lower Antelope canyon tour( Dixie's tours) we also visited Horseshoe bend. Both of these places you've seen in magazines. This area is designated a "Dark Sky" area, you can see the milky way with the naked eye. I want to go back and maybe hit other under canvas sites as well.

This is sadly not viable when it is warm outside. Without air conditioning, these tents are inhabitable. They say they have misters and fans but when the temps don’t fall below 80F/26C until 3 am and it is 104F/40C during the day, there is NO way this is comfortable. All the amenities they claim to have only happen once a week and you are captive to their expensive restaurant for dinner and breakfast. You must call the reception to be picked up in a golf cart (no A/C) if you want to leave your tent (if it is too far to walk), so you are basically stuck in your hot tent unless you want to walk a ways in the heat. Sadly, the views are not spectacular and there are NO views of Lake Powell OR the gorgeous red rock surroundings. We were so sorely disappointed in it all, especially given the exorbitant price…Save your money and stay elsewhere…:/
