beware of the fireplace, water heater, and the noise of the kid tent

fireplace - floo can be closed due to wind, causing the entire tent to fill with smoke and the fireplace is typically used while sleeping... water heater is great, so long as the pilot light and tubes are clear - otherwise, you're breathing in that natural gas smell. kid tents - they WHIP in the wind so loudly, it will wake your kids and you in the tent 30 feet over.

This was an unbelieveable experience that will be unforgettable to me. The setting at Lake Powell is unmatched and there is nothing that compares to staying at a Dark Sky park. The staff was very friendly and accessible. I will absolutely seek this type of experience again in the near future and encourage my family and friends to do the same.

What are unique experience! Had a wonderful family stay here at Under Canvas for one night while visiting the area. Perfect place to stay after exploring Antelope Canyon and on the way to Bryce Canyon. Woodburning stove in the tent was very cool. Explored the slot canyon on the property which is beautiful. Dining tent has a very cool vibe, with families all over playing board games and enjoying each other‘s company. S’mores by the campfire were also a nice touch, would’ve been even better for stargazing if it hasn’t been cloudy. But very cool experience for a night, looking forward to exploring other Under Canvas locations!

My stay at Under Canvas Lake Powell was perfect. From the first greeting at check-in, I knew I was in for a treat. The staff were so warm and welcoming, extremely knowledgeable about the surrounding area. The view from the lobby is unlike anything I've seen. Food and beverage options were solid. Great beer selection. I've never glamped before and I was very comfortable throughout my stay. Tents were very clean and thoughtfully laid out so it felt very spacious. Also a great easy hiking trail onsite! Excited to check out the other Under Canvas locations.

Highly recommend staying here. The customer service is some of the best that I have ever experienced while traveling. Kaitlyn was so informative from the moment we arrived and reviewed the entire property with us, highlighting all of the amenities and activities. The food was incredible. Although it was pricey, the quality matched the price point, the food was fresh, perfect portions, accommodating to various diet restrictions and unique. We ate there for both dinner and breakfast and wished we could eat here the entire trip. We were driven to our tent by Kaitlyn and she stopped at some points to show us different hiking trails on the property. Our tent was fully equipped with a wood stove/fireplace that she showed us how to work. That came in really handy during cold desert nights. The bathroom was standard and got the job done. This is truly a glamping experience and perfect for those who want an outdoors experience but aren't ready to rough it. Since most of the staff have worked at several other locations, they were a wealth of knowledge for all of the other properties and provided the best recommendations. Although the property lacked in guest diversity (which is to no fault of Under Canvas), as a POC, I felt very comfortable staying here and received the best customer service at a hotel that I've had in a long time. Everyone seemed genuinely happy to work for the company and eager to serve guest. This is such a versatile property that suits families, couples groups and solo travelers. Very safe for solo travelers, specifically women. I am looking forward to staying at other properties in the future.
