The owner of this place is very racist and rude she used derogatory terms when talking to me in the phone her name is Holly Slinkard very unprofessional I would not recommend anyone to stay at this cabin. Holly Slinkard is a terrible person and used racist terms when talking on the phone with me.

Let me just say, this is the best you will find in the Denali Park region. Beautiful property, fabulous and friendly/professional staff and comfortable and VERY clean lodging with views. The food is spectacular. A relaxing spot away from the bustle of the Denali canyon which has turned into a zoo in the wilderness. They meet their goal of feeling like you are family.

Excellent place to stay. Beautiful location, very friendly staff. One of the owners was very helpful in helping find medical care. The food is great - amazing pies! They have gluten free options, too.

Perfect place to stay to visit Denali. There is only one hotel in Denali so this is a great option near the park. We stayed in a lovely CREEKSIDE cabin. We heard the creek rumble by and the view of it was magical. Room well equipped with a small fridge and coffeemaker. Best restaurant and bakery around made even better by our server Meghan. This really is the perfect place to stay on a visit to Denali.

The ambiance of the creek which ran right next to the cabin we stayed in. Not all cabins are actually facing the creek. The cabin was very clean. The bed was comfrotable. The restaurant was fabulous. The meals, both breakfast and dinner were incredible. Apparently, it wasn't a secret because they were very busy. The wait staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. This was our first time in the Denali area. I didn't realize how far out McKinley Creekside cabins was from the park (about 15 minutes), and related activities in Healy (aobut 30 minutes). I asked about nearby hikes, the person at the desk knew of none, although I learned later that there were some nearby. Most regretably, though, was that the cabin itself was extremely small, rather cramped. There was only one mirror in the entire cabin. The bathroom door wouldn't close all the way. It was either not planed properly, or swollen from moisture. Also, water condensed on the back of the toilet and pooled around the base. The heating system needs improvement.
