We stayed in one of the Lodge rooms as those rooms had King beds. Nice spacious room, with a covered balcony. I would recommend the Queen cottages as they are on the river. This would be a great stay for someone wanting to be away from the hustle bustle near the Denali entrance. You would want to have a car for this location. Food in the cafe was delicious, had a late lunch upon our arrival, and ordered lunch for our bus tour into Denali and this was very convenient as there is not any food or drink once you get on the bus and journey into the heart of the park. If you are looking for a fancier resort with more upscale amenities, there are those options in town. The Princess Resort is nice and there are other options. I would stay here again as we enjoy seclusion, nice to have good food on site, everyone was very friendly. I would definitely go back here for the privacy and the location on the creek (but worth the smaller bed and my hubby is 6'3 so he prefers the bigger bed- but we agree the location on the creek make the Queen cottages the way to go).

We enjoyed our stay at McKinley Creekside Cabins. It was a great location for our visit to Denali National Park. Our cabin had everything we needed including great coffee, microwave and small refrigerator.

This is a lovely place to stay, in the most beautiful setting a short distance away from the park entrance but away from the crowds. It has a homely feel and the staff are very friendly. We were in cabins away from the stream that didn’t have a view but were comfortable inside, with a coffee maker, fridge, microwave, good heating and good shower. There’s no TV and my cabin did not have cell phone reception but the wi fi worked well. One evening there was a snow hare just outside the cabin. The on-site cafe/restaurant was excellent and takeaway bakery goods including sandwiches were really useful for taking on tours. Highly recommended for a comfortable place that really makes the most of the Alaskan countryside.

We stayed here recently and were treated so well by the staff. Our room was located on the creek. We brought our own food we picked up in Anchorage and cooked at their outside bbq area. Every night we would sit by the campfire and enjoy the Alaskan evenings. There was no TV but who needs a TV when you are visiting Alaska! We would return here again if we ever find ourselves visiting Denali again.

McKinley Creekside Cabins were a great place to stay. The showers were hot, the location close to the entrance to Denali National Park, but far enough away to avoid the craziness of the cruise-ship hotels and all the shops. We were there for four nights ... and loved it. Each of the rooms we had had two queen sized beds, good lighting, adequate power (for charging devices), a microwave and a fridge. There were sliders to the outside with a view into the trees. We'll be going back
