We stayed in a cabin, there were 2 queen beds and no kitchen. But there is a coffeemaker and fridge. Cute place on the Carlo River. There is a cafe here, that I thought was the best food we had in Denali. The cafe opens at 6 and you can order a to-go bag lunch to pick up in the morning before your adventure. There is a also pastries and coffee bar.

Just wanted something to eat, but received a meal to remember. My husband had the halibut and was happy to find fish that wasn't fried! I had the Thai lettuce wraps. So tasty and fresh! This restaurant stands out as our best in Alaska!
Great

We had a cabin next to the creek cabin was recently remodeled there is a restaurant on site that was very good. It is only 15 miles south of Denali national park it was great looking outside at 3 am and you could still see outside.
Well run, comfortable and caring

The beds were extremely comfy, and the electric heating system made it toasty on cool fall evenings. There is also a private patio for use in summer months. The main draw of this place has to be the food. All dishes and bakery goods are homemade and I never ordered anything I didn’t like. The servers are obviously hired for their personalities as well as serving skills, because they specialize in making you feel welcome. We visited the last week of the summer season when the hosted a fundraiser/Christmas party (in September) which raised $10,000 for Wild in Denali, an organization that provides wilderness experiences for disabled children. Not only is McKinley Creekside cabins really well run, but management definitely has its heart in the right places.
Comfortable, clean and good food.

Our stay was great. The rooms were very clean, the beds and pillows comfortable. The rooms have fridge, microwave, coffee and coffee pot(although they ran out of half and half creamer and didn't have any when we asked, said it was end of season)
Bathroom was updated and very clean. The deck was overlooking a pretty mountain side.
We had dinner twice during our stay and both times really enjoyed the food. Felt like it was one of the better meals we had in Alaska.
Overall I would stay there again and recommend.
