Nice hotel but overpriced and pillows horribly uncomfortable
We stayed here for 2 nights this past weekend. It's in a great location and we enjoyed driving Moose Wilson road each time to get here (so much wildlife). However, this hotel is very overpriced (1800+ for 2nights) for the quality you get I feel. The only reason I paid that and stayed here is because it was unfortunately the "cheapest" of the very few hotels that had rooms left to book. We had the fireplace room (only room available). We could walk outside on our little patio. Bathroom was good size. The bed was okay but the pillows are HORRIBLE! Like motel quality. You feel as if your not even sleeping on a pillow at all as your head sinks right to the bed. And if you double up they close in around your face. For the price your clients are paying, at least get better quality pillows. For me and as someone who struggles with sleeping, this is a big deal. This was the 4th hotel we stayed in this particular stay and no one else were as bad as this one. The pool/hot tub area was cool. Parking is free and right by hotel. I loved the Teton Village area and would love to return. But may check out one of the other properties in the area.

My wife Deena and I are senior citizens and went for a hike that was recommended by their concierge. We had requested a late check out. We didn't realize the hike was so long! We had to call back to request an additional hour checkout. They were very nice about that but still could not make it back in time. I realized we are responsible and that they are running a business but they charged us an additional half a day fee which they said was was $316. I had paid less than that for the entire night we had stayed because I had made a previous reservation.
I called to object and requested a supervisor to call me back but no one has yet called. The facility was nice but $316 is a steep penalty to pay for us. We got back at 2:30 and the check-in time was 4pm. They had the time to clean the room. We will never stay there again!

High Price Low expectations
I was on a booking site to make reservations. It looked as if it said 400 for the 3 nights so I booked it. Then the receipt showed it was 400 per night which I immediately canceled and it stated not refundable. I called the booking site to see if this could be taken care of. They called your hotel and explained what happened but the manager said no its not refundable. (seriously I called within minutes of this happening they should have a window for a mistake to be fixed. So rather than that book somewhere else I said rebook it so I wouldn't waste my money. We arrived on Wednesday and checked in. The girl at the front desk was polite. We got to our room which was not what I expected for 400$ per night. It was clean and nice but very cramped and small. Next morning we go to what we think is a free breakfast buffet which we have had at other hotels. After eating 1 plate we get a bill 25$ a person unbelievable. You should have a hostess seating people so we know it's not a free breakfast buffet. One evening they had some appetizers for the rest of the week, nothing? I had higher expectations this hotel due to the price of it.

Great Location in Teton Village
We enjoyed our visit at the Snake River Lodge and Spa. The rooms are a little dated. The staff and service were excellent. We appreciated having our rooms cleaned daily during our 6 day stay. We had spa treatments and the staff and spa were excellent. The dining options and bar service are clearly suffering due to COVID staffing and other issues. We never knew when we would be able to order a beverage. Different schedules and service daily. Some days no drinks at 5:00, some wine and beer only, some full bar. We choose not to eat any meal in their restaurants because there seemed to be much better options. I would stay there again.

Terrible hotel and the staff is the worst
This is the first time I’ve written a review. This place was so bad, I had to. Firstly, this is not a luxury resort. It’s a 2 or 3 star motel at best. The rooms are tiny and dumpy. It’s not worth the money. Stay at a better hotel like the Terra.
Devon, This hotel has a 21 day no cancel policy. This is totally unacceptable, especially during a pandemic. We tried to cancel our trip a couple of weeks ago for to the heavy smoke in the area from the wildfires. My nephew has covid. The manager on duty refused to address this and kept saying she’s de happy to cancel, with no refund. I asked for the name of her boss and the emails and voicemails remain unreturned.
Certainly a credit for a later stay at another one of their resorts would be reasonable, but they refuse to even address this.
We elevated this to the Newport hotel group who owns the hotel. . We have emailed and called asking for a credit. We haven’t had a response from anyone in weeks . They charged us 7k for a week where the circumstances and air quality were not possible for anyone with unhealthy lungs, and beyond anyone’s control.
The two owners Jon and Douglas Cohen are greedy, despicable people. The staff reflects their values, making this entire experience horrific.
