The hotel is located close to the ski slopes which is great for skiing. It's also within walking distance to many great restaurants in the other hotels. We did not ski, due to a previous injury but we found many things to do in the Jackson Hole area. When walking into the hotel either door and in the lobby you are hit with some heavy cologne smell...Ralph Lauren Polo? I'm not sure what odor they are trying to cover up but this scent is a bit overwhelming.

Needs Renovation

Great location, nice large room. But cabinetry and other things in room and hotel are very dated and in need of renovation. Walls seemed paper thin as could easily here the tv in the next room. Exercise room nice, as is pool area. Small narrow corridors are a maze just to get to elevators. Paid huge dollars to stay during the eclipse, and they don't even give you water every night, just the first night only. That's really poor service for a room that was $800/night for a king with sitting area. Was expecting much more from a Rock Resort hotel.

False CC transactions made by hotel manager

Be Aware!!!! Hotel made false charges on my credit card after we checked out. Manager can't explain charges and wrote up false documents to prove fake purchases made at the hotel to my CC company. I am disputing this again and want others to be careful by their dishonesty.

Cheap stay but big money - loud dryer noises past 7pm if you were on the first or second floors

We stayed in a room on the second floor and there was a loud humming noise all day and up until 8pm at night or later. I complained and they told me it was a coat dryer and there was nothing they could do. Seems unreasonable to be running a coat dryer past 7pm. I wouldn’t want to stay there again. We paid $500 a night and I’ve never had a room with such loud noises for that much. It was unfortunate and we stayed there for 4 nights. Imagine having to call almost every night and complain. It was that bad I couldn’t fall asleep!

They tried. That's about all I can say about this property. We booked through ski.com and thought that everything was paid for and completed. Apparently the payment processing system did not recognize our payment at Snake River. So Snake River double charged us. I have spent the last week trying to get the charges reversed. Even though Snake River recognizes that they double charged, there seems to be some issue reverting the funds. They were very kind, but this is taking forever. It just seems this new ownership does not have their act together yet. We stayed in a 2 bedroom, 2 bath. It was nice but dated. Definitely some wear and tear on the unit but it was clean. Overall a very ok stay marred by the fact that I have spend hours trying to get refunded. Unfortunately, I was not alone with this issue. Other families that we traveled with experienced the same thing. Again, Snake River did try to resolve the issue but their processing system seems to be letting them down. A very disappointing end to a vacation.
