From the moment we arrived I was drawn in by this rustic mountain lodge nestled in the corner of an alpine village at the base of a beautiful mountain range only a mile from the Grand Tetons. From the moment you step inside your eyes are drawn to the natural wood interior and carved bears which appear throughout the lobby. The hallways are lined with painting’s and photo’s of the area’s history, scenery and wildlife. The bedrooms were had wonderful bedding which afforded us a good nights sleep after each days adventures. The staff were friendly and helpful ensuring we felt at home. I would definitely stay here again!

Worst hotel stay in over 20 countries
At time of reserving I asked for the room with a view of mountains. We got a parking lot. The tv was broken, The coffee maker was broken. The tub (?) is 3 feet in diameter. Because of COVID, the continental breakfast was a vending machine muffin and a dole fruit cup. There is NOTHING good I can say about this place. And it was the most expensive hotel listed in the area, for which price I assumed I would get above average accommodations. And the cost was 10% MORE than I was quoted as total price. I dont mind paying a resort fee, but dont give me a "total price" and then add that after I arrive. Over $1000 for 4 days in OFF SEASON, and it was like a 3rd world scam.

Staff is nice, (Ben) in particular, bed was comfy, food is overpriced but good. Coffee in the morning and a grab bag, aggravating that we had to sit outside in the cold and eat breakfast bc of Covid but not hotels fault. I didn’t know there was a pool so bring a suit! Pretty outdoor setting with fire pit and hot tubs. Overall a great place to stay.

OK Hotel; Very Poor Customer Service
I stayed at the hotel in June in 2020 on first night open after the COVID shutdown. As background, I travel 80 nights a year all over the US and Europe although this was leisure trip. A few points:
1. Hotel room was ok. The two bed room we stayed in had seen a substantial bathroom remodel that was well done but made the rest of the room very cramped. In addition, the rest of the room did not seem to have been redone creating a weird dynamic.
2. Most of the other services (restaurant, pool, room service) were not functioning due to COVID. This is not included as part of my ratings.
3. My biggest issue is around service. First, the bill placed under my door was completely wrong. I had been told it would be corrected. The correction then had a roughly $30 charge with a vague reason. The reality is our booking had been changed from a high rate period to a low rate period and our heavy prepayment covered the new stay and was roughly $30 over. The issue is after 4 phone calls and 2 emails the hotel would not act. I had to get AMEX involved to get refund.
Summary. There are just too many other good places to stay in Teton village to deal with this hotel. The rooms are a big "Ok" and the billing issue above was just poor. On our followup trip to Jackson Hole, did not even consider Snake River Lodge

Much needed get away and didn't disappoint
We NEEDED a vacation and Snake River Lodge is a family favorite, so we were thrilled to be able to go. We were impressed with the care the staff took to keep us safe. We knew there would be changes and appreciated the work they put in to ensure we had a fun and safe vacation. Changes sure, but we were grateful they could open and the staff was friendly and helped us seek out activities. Horseback riding across the street is fun to do and watch. My kids were thrilled to get out of our house and Snake River Lodge gave us a great vacation and some sanity. Can't wait to come back.
