Talk about location location
As the snow season hasn’t kicked 100% in yet we had the best opportunity to stay in a USD$500 p/n hotel for just USD $149 p/n. The foyer is excellent with a totally rustic theme, super fireplace, bar and the staff & service befitting it’s star rating! The indoor/outdoor pool and hot tubs were ace. Couldn’t be better location wise!!
To top it off Mother Nature threw out great snow and bluebird days!
Top top top family fun times!

Nice house, poor service
This is a fancy, expensive, beautiful property. My wife choose it so we could have a nice dinner for my birthday.
We arrived on 9/6. There is no convenient self parking, so we went with valet parking. Dinner in the bar was adequate, nothing more. Pricey. Mediocre atmosphere. Restaurant was closed.
Next morning front desk called. The windshield wipers on our car were still moving, but very slowly. Sure enough, it had been parked with the wipers going. For whatever reason the ran all night, and the battery was dead. Shouldn't have happened, for sure the car should have shut down, but it did. It took a long time for them to get a vehicle next to me to jump it. Then the parking attendant argued with me about how to hook up the car. He didn't want to follow the instructions in the car's manual. Fortunatey we had jumper cables. Eventually we got it going. Went out and had a nice day. Lost a couple of hours.
Went out and had a decent day in the Teton. Wasn't worried, because the same front desk person who called me about the car confirmed 9PM dinner reservations at the lodge. So when our wildlife tour ran a little late, wasn't worried. Restaurant denied our reservations and told us they were closed. Back to the bar, more mediocre food. However, on this night, the service was awful. After complaints, the comped us our beverages. But it took awful.
Our room charges were 299 and 359 for the two nights. The service did not meet our expectations for that kind of price.
If you want a decent dinner, with better service go to the Mangy Moose down the street. If you want a decent place to stay, I'd suggest you look elsewhere.

This is the place to stay in Teton Village!
We stayed at the Snake River Lodge and Spa Resort this month (October). We had a king room (#405) which was outstanding - balcony with a great view! The shared balcony is great - it runs the length of the building but has defined areas for your room. We walked around to the other side of the building and found that the views from those balconies were obstructed in areas and not open. Our side (#405) did not face the teton mountains directly but had wonderfully unobstructed views of mountains in the distance and the horses in the field next door - definitely preferrred this side of the building. We did not use any paid spa services while there, but the spa is open and free to use for guests - in terms of the hot tub, sauna and locker rooms, etc. Very nice. The indoor-outdoor pool at the hotel is heated (it was around 92 degrees when we were there) and was great to swim in . They have an indoor hot tub and outdoor hot tub which were wonderful! Towels for the pool/hot tub areas are in the pool area and available to guests. Every afternoon the hotel bar area has an appetizer station set up - which is complimentary for guests; we found the selections to be really nice and delicious! We ate dinner at the bar one night - food was really very good but it was pretty pricey. Staff were very friendly and hospitable - especially the front desk clerk, Savannah - easy to talk to and very informative. Daily coffee and water stations are set up in the lobby area - VERY good coffee. Each room as a Keurig with supplies nice. The layout and decor of our room was amazing - kept the lodge feel and made our time in the room relaxing and enjoyable. The bathroom was great - shower was wonderful and the amenities nice! Our room was accessible via an old time type elevator - you open a passage door and then open a gate to get in - pretty cool! There is a tv that plays area information and attraction information in the elevator - which was so good you will actually want to linger a bit in the elevator to see the end of some scenes. The lobby is filled with all kinds of lodge decor and wonderful things to see. Very detailed layout. The fireplace is a focal point and is great to sit and relax next to. Lots of furniture and seating options in lobby. The location of the resort is perfect - easy access from Jackson and easy (and very cool) drive to the Grand Teton National Park. We saw a large variety of animals during our stay - all times of day. I cannot think of a single thing that we didn't like about this place! It was a great resort - with great staff - who really contributed to an amazing vacation!

Great for families and perfect location to slopes, restaurants and bars.
My family stayed here for a few days to ski and welcome in the New Year. This hotel has a great family friendly happy hour and comfortable rooms. It is an easy walk to the slopes and right in the village for family friendly dinners. The staff is very attentive.

Incredible Business Meeting in October at the Snake River Lodge
I hosted a business meeting at the Snake RIver Lodge and Spa in October 2018. I was impressed with level of service from Katherine and Al during the planning/negotiating phase. Onsite support from Kelli and Katherine was exceptional. I would highly recommend Snake RIver Lodge for a business meeting.
