Incredible Business Meeting in October at the Snake River Lodge
I hosted a business meeting at the Snake RIver Lodge and Spa in October 2018. I was impressed with level of service from Katherine and Al during the planning/negotiating phase. Onsite support from Kelli and Katherine was exceptional. I would highly recommend Snake RIver Lodge for a business meeting.

Aussie Family on Tour
A fantastic Hotel in a fantastic setting. All the staff were extremely helpful and courteous. The pool is great for families and everything within the village is an easy stroll away (and not hilly). Can't wait to come back for a ski trip.

Great locations in both the summer and winter. Well decorated Lodge with excellent amenities including gym, spa and pool. Staff are friendly and helpful. Food is great - breakfast lovely. Rooms are spacious and the ones at the front have a nice terrace with great views. Good value too

OK, not what we expected
We got to the hotel around 9:00pm after a day of flying and were shown to our room. It was a great view, of an elevated roof. You seriously could see nothing but a blocked window. I get it if the hotel is at capacity but it didn't appear they were at all, this is September. Why wouldn't you want to come to the Tetons to have no view at all vs. the pictures they show on their website?
We went with it, went downstairs and sat at the bar to order food. Waited about 10 minutes to be acknowledged, asked if we could still order food and were told yes, then another server came by and said, "no, they can't - kitchen just closed." So after a long day of traveling, because no one could get to us for 10 minutes, we were turned away from food. Again, tried to make the best of it and ordered some wine to take outside and sit by the firepit - no luck, out of propane.
The resort is in a great location and I'm sure has some great benefits to staying there, we really just had a so so experience the night we stayed and that's something you don't forget.

Good Property, but Pictures have been photoshopped !
Spent 4 days in the Teton Village/Jackson Hole area on a couples get away....overall good impression with the property, we had a room on the third floor, directly above the main reception area, very nice view and shared wrap around balcony......a little noise when a boisterous group arrived, but could see the front fire pits and watch the horses across the street.....and the mountains in the distance......One comment that sticks in my mind, is that what the property looks like and especially its backdrop/setting relating to the mountain has been heavily altered......you cannot get an unrestricted view of the slopes/lifts as the picture portrays.......there are building in your line of sight that don't exist in their altered pictures......maybe a few rooms can see the slope, but what they represent as their setting is disconnected from reality...
Due to the transitional nature of the time frame we were there, the main dining room was closed except for the breakfast buffet, lunch and dinner was a limited but appealing menu served in the bar area......They offered a welcome hot snacks and sweets every afternoon from 1600 to 1730, selection changed each nite, and a I believe the may have specials on certain drinks.
Our room was clean and well appointed, housekeeping did a thorough job of turning the room each day..........the front desk was efficient at checkin/checkout....and were always there if questions arose......a delightful litlle quirk was the old fashion elevator that serviced the small group of rooms we were in.....it had a regular swing door and the retractable cage elevator door, nostalgic for older patrons who may remember the days of such things in everyday life,,,,,but they had replaced the old wheel control with push button and a video board running infomercials...but the thought was worth something....
Would return and stay here again if the situation arose.....
