Hotel is a C at best. Unprofessional staff, terrible food. Brought us breakfast in all plastic containers with coffe in a carton. Yogurt was in a tiny ketchup container as was granola with four blueberries. Beyond bad. Room cleaning subpar. Dirty carpet. Unaccomodating staff. Really put a damper on my trip

Really loved our stay here. Located a quick and easy drive to Acadia and a very short walk to shops and many restaurants. Also close to land bridge. Property is pretty with many beautiful flowers. The pool is lovely and kept so warm you could literally swim on a chilly night(almost too warm on a sunny day but not going to complain about a hotel that maintains a warm pool. We booked the only room type left and it was a high end room with harbor view. It was incredibly spacious- like living in an apartment almost. It was clean and updated. Beds were fine though not exceptional. They offer wrist bands that function as room keys-super convenient. Iced water bottles available as you leave for the day. Restaurant was good and reasonably priced. Texts sent to check in on your stay. Only a few minor complaints. Staff were mostly not knowledgeable about the area.Also self parking on Saturdays was a nightmare though no issues after that. I didn’t know they had valet available because welcome text talked about self parking. They gave us complimentary valet parking after we drove around 15 min trying to get a space. But overall this is a great place to stay and highly recommend

This hotel was situated in perfect walking distance to the town. We had a beautiful view of the harbor and could watch sunrise. The staff at the hotel and restaurant were friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant was delicious and not overpriced. The only downside is that we couldn't get massages. We looked at the schedule online weeks in advance and there wasn't anyone scheduled. When we called a couple of days later we couldn't schedule any massages because they were having a meeting most of the afternoon. The other slots were taken. It was very disappointing. However we did schedule massages at another place in town. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Location, location, location! Excellent location and easily within walking distance to restaurants, shopping, and Bar Harbor Whale Watch as well as within 10-15 minute drive of Acadia National Park. We were greeted at the door at check-in, our room was ready an hour early, we received excellent communication from the hotel via text messages several days in advance up to the day of our arrival. We loved the property, amenities, staff, and free self-parking. Our room was spacious, clean, with very little outside noise noticed from the outdoor pool or indoor hallway. Property includes two beautiful pools, heated to 82 degrees, with ample towels and chairs available. Hot tub has beautiful views of Frenchman Bay. While we didn't get to see a beautiful sunset due to the clouds, it was still a lovely view. Don't forget to walk across to the island at low tide!

We loved our stay at the Harborside. The location of the hotel was great as it was steps from the Bar Harbor shops and restaurants. The hotel was also right next to the land bridge from low tide. The room was spacious and beds were comfortable. All staff were very friendly. The complimentary umbrellas were a nice touch. The laundry room was so nice as well. The pool was warm and the hot tub was awesome with beautiful views. Our kids are already asking when we can go back!
