Clean, comfortable, well-run property. 4.5 rating. Staff was friendly and accommodating. The room suite was comfortable and clean. Breakfast had a good selection of choices. We appreciated that the front desk person was able to let us check in early so we could unload our vehicle and spend the afternoon in the park.

We stayed two nights whilst travelling through the area and visiting the Grand Canyon. It’s actually situated very close to the National park entrance so super convenient. We had a suite with lounge, kitchenette in the adults only block adjacent to the Hotel. It was quiet. The Breakfast was typical American breakfast buffet, with good quality products and plentiful. It wasn’t at all crowded when we were there on a Monday. The coffee is dreadful- always in these type of hotels. The staff work very hard and are very professional. Everywhere is very clean. The interior decor is slightly fading, but it’s still worthy of a definite 5*. The locality is pleasant, and you can easily walk to restaurants and supermarket.

Our other booked hotel in Flagstaff canceled our booking at around 8PM, an hour and a half before our arrival without enough notice and assistance provided to my family , we ended up calling multiple hotels and most of them are fully booked. We are fortunate that this Holiday Inn hotel in Tusayan, took us in late at night knowing that we have our small child with us and without any place to stay. Lyn in the front desk was very kind, went above and beyond to help us. We really appreciate the help.

Great hotel, helpful staff and loved the adults only wing! Very clean and the suite was perfect. Great place to stay when visiting the Grand Canyon. The breakfast was a little disappointing, very few items. Bed was very firm. Very centrally located in town.

If you need a room to stay in and a massive amount of breakfast then this is your place. But, you’re reading the reviews so I’ll elaborate on our experience so you can have a better understanding of what you’re getting yourself into if you book at this hotel. Check in was easy and quick. I found it odd that they specifically asked if we would need housekeeping services (we stayed two nights). Never been asked that before. The room was clean but the furniture is stained. Cracked floor tiles, outdated decor and tiny bathroom. The door barely clears the toilet. Within five minutes of arriving my four year old used the washroom and the toilet would not flush. Someone had to come up and change out the handle. Very frustrating hallway noise, you will hear every door open and slam close from inside your room. Typical hotel breakfast spread, lots of selection and is quite busy. I wish there was more fruit options as there was only oranges and bananas and I don’t eat bananas. The attendants working the breakfast area are wonderful people. Now for the pool. Skip it. Partly because of the pool itself and partly because of the type of fellow swimmers you will encounter. One man came up from under the water and found it appropriate to blow out and expel what was in his nose and into the pool water. Twice. Lots of people splashing and little kids in the hot tub (I have two and I kept them in the pool section only as a courtesy to the other adults). Tl;dr - we won’t be back but it served its purpose, I suppose. Keep expectations way low.
