Good room. Beds and pillows need attention. Good breakfast. A bit disorganized in making up room and checking to replace items. TV has limited selection. Wi-Fi failed for lengthy period one evening. Good parking and access.

We, a family of 4 stayed here for a night when we visited the GC. We had room in 3rd floor. Room w as s clean and well maintained. We didn't find any issues there. Front desk is very helpful and gives us recommendations for food nearby, sunrise visit etc. Breakfast was okay. Most of the items including the veggie omelette q and s ready made. It's very nice to have individual chobani or yoplait yogurt cups. Overall a very pleasant experience.

Great Location and Value!

As there are a small number of hotels in Tusayan we selected this HI Express for the location and the value. A point to keep in mind is that Tusayan has a one street business district that is around one mile long so everything is convenient. We stayed in the annex building which had it’s own complimentary breakfast area as well as parking. Our room turned out to a 3 room in line suite with a living room, a small kitchen pantry and the bedroom with a small balcony. The room was very clean and kind of reminded us of some of the newer European/ IKEA style hotel rooms that are located outside of the larger cities. There are a number of restaurants close by within walking distance. If you are looking for some snacks or wine to bring back to the room avoid the limited number of small markets in town as they are very expensive as is gas so plan accordingly. There is a commissary type store in the Grand Canyon Park that caters to visitors there and you can purchase whatever you need while in the park at reasonable prices and take it back to the room with you.

We stayed in the annex building and had so many issues with our room. The room was not well cleaned:dirty fridge with coke or juice being spilt, dust everywhere, dirty stained sheets (looked like not changed after the previous guests) and toilet that did not work, had to call the maintenance twice. On the positive side, the location was good, close to the park, and the breakfast was ok.

Ok for the area

Stayed 2 nights while visiting the Grand Canyon. The location was convenient and there are several restaurants and a gas station nearby. This hotel gets a lot of visitors and it shows. The rooms were clean but definitely showing their age. The front desk staff were very polite. Breakfast was included and was decent (for hotel continental), but I’ve never seen lines to the front door waiting to get thru the line before. Even though the hotel must have been at capacity, it was quiet.
