Nice place with a nice breakfast
Our visit began with a pleasant greeting at the front desk. The room was great and the breakfast in the morning was varied and good. It was crowded, but there was enough room to sit and there was plenty of food.

Best. Breakfast. Buffet. Attendant. Ever.
Booked this establishment for one night as our base for visiting the GC. Arrived early enough to check in and change clothes to something more appropriate for a sunset & dinner trip to the Canyon than what we left Lake Havasu in. Check-in went smoothly enough, our room had been made ready just as we arrived.
The room (main building # 155) was satisfactory, the bed was comfortable, fridge cold, the "climate control" not at all noisy. This was an Accessible room which we did not require and felt bad occupying it, but it's weird thing Expedia does as they also put us in 2 other such rooms across AZ. Did not make it to the pool / hot tub unfortunately.
The most notable point to be made is that here there is a "double-sided" buffet of most items (more and better offerings than a lot of hotels) which splits the crowds in half. Very busy at the mid-point of the 3 hour opening which meant a hunt for a table. (NOT a place to linger over your coffee people!)
The most amazing thing is how the attendant in charge of the operation was buzzing around like a bee on crack. Helping people find a table, asking if they needed something else, even fetching something if they asked. Cleaning tables, rearranging tables for large parties, explaining how the pancake machine worked. I haven't seen such dedication and effort like this in some very posh restaurants.
She alone makes this hotel worthy of a visit. To her I say, Muchas gracious Senora, but seriously, slow down and take breath!
Overall, due to it's location and the included breakfast buffet, (which seems to not be a thing in Tusayan) I give this establishment a solid Recommended. (and try the pancake maker!!)

Enjoyed our one night stay
We drove from Vegas and were able to check-in right away at 2.30pm. The room was a good size with 2 generous size beds. Unfortunately the shuttle to the GC wasn’t running but we had no issue finding a park either at the GC or at the hotel. We walked to a fabulous near by Mexican restaurant for dinner after viewing the sunset.
The breakfast (inc in the price) was excellent!
Staff at the front desk were prompt and polite.

The hotel treats everyone like family. Warm smiles when you enter the hotel. The front desk is there to help. Breakfast is delightful, great and always ready for early morning travelers, workers or others. Housekeeping is top notch. If you are out of items, the front desk is there to help. This is a special place and can be for you too Excellent!

Probably the best hotel we have stayed in so far on our road trip through the west.
The room was good, along with the bath and shower.
And definity the best breakfast with the only full cooked breakfast we have been offered so far. And Imelda(?), working in the breakfast bar was amazing, making sure everyone was looked after and brightening up our morning with her cheery nature.
The only negative is the same with all the hotels we have stayed in and thats using polystyrene style disposal plates and cups with plastic knives and forks. The planet doesn't need all this waste especially when proper tableware is so much better!
Isn't it time to change your policy and do your bit for the environment! :)
