The hotel is an older hotel and near the water so had the expected slight musty smell. We had the sign light shining into our room on the top of the curtains. Complimentary buffet was sufficient and provided us our needs to get on the road to tour.

My first time visiting Bar Harbor, ME and it was an awesome trip! The place we stayed at Days Inn was very nice for the price and we had the front view which was cool because we saw new cruise ships coming into port every morning. I would stay here again and can't wait to visit Bar Harbor again!

Great location in Bar Harbor and short distance to Acadia National Park entrance! Which is Perfect if your there to hike like us. Grocery stores close by for supplies and restaurants within walking distance.

Our stay was nice, clean room and courtesy staff. The room had a comfy king size bed in it, we prefer that to the 2 doubles. The breakfast served was diverse and plentiful. Super clean amenities. Great staff

The room smelled moldy. It was not clean. Everything in the room was very old. The mattress was totally worn out. Hookups for the TV cable were dangling from the table. There was so much furniture in the room it was difficult to walk around. The carpet was gross. The bathroom toilet was right in front of the sink, so that it was impossible to even stand in front of the sink. It was on the bottom floor with a window that raised vertically and made the room unsafe. The outside of the door had something spilled all over it- possibly soda or coffee. I had booked a room with a king size bed but got 2 full-size beds. It was the worse motel I have ever been in and it cost over $300. It was unbelievable that they could charge that much for such a dilapidated place.
