We had a huge king bed, the room had a lot of space compared to other hotels. New fixtures and features as well. Service was amazing and the people are super friendly. Breakfast was worth waking up early for!

Nice hotel for the area. The staff was super friendly and open to yak about activities and sights to go check out. Clean rooms and nice location by the harbor made for a nice point to get around town.

We held two meetings using the event space and wow! We were impressed! The Seward Gateway staff was fast, knowledgeable and very efficient in preparing the space for us. They had all of the seating and tables you would need for any event space (and high quality/comfortable chairs, something not common in event spaces!). The kitchen was fantastic, well-equipped and clean with ample room for a team of people to work in the area. The presentation counter for staging food was easily accessible but not directly facing the event space, meaning the event didn't have to "share space" with the food--something anyone with event experience greatly appreciates. Several tables were prepared for use with visual presentations, with ample power available for any TV's or projectors you bring along. This is major win #2 for me, as the typical sprawl of power cables was eliminated, making it easier for our personnel to move around and engage with our audience. The space is large, very modern and well-lit both from natural light and the new soft interior lighting. This is a clean environment allowing for several different layouts for your event--no awkward hallways or transitional rooms to plan around. Overall, I would highly recommend that anyone who needs an event space in Seward check in with the Seward Gateway--this level of professionalism stands out in the sea of options in Alaska, and directly contributed to the success of our events.
