Customer Service As It Should Be

I just booked a 7 night stay for late July and if the campground is half as good as the customer service I received this morning; then we are going to be quite lucky! I left a message on the campgrounds voicemail system and within an hour I received a call back from a member of the campgrounds leadership team. For the next 15 minutes, I interacted with a ridiculously pleasant woman named Barbie. She patiently answered all of my questions, provided additional insight into the surrounding area and even recommended her personal favorite tenting campsite. She was beyond kind and in this age of horrific customer service; she was a breath of fresh air! Barbie, I can't wait to meet you in person and thanks for the assistance this morning.

Very good cabin stay

We had a good stay here in a two-bedroom cabin. We were very surprised by the price, but it was a) high season, b) high season 2021, and c) worth it anyway to have a cabin, especially with laundry as we headed into the middle of our trip, and because we would have been deeply unhappy one particularly cold August night. We initially had a wifi issue, and staff came out pretty quickly to fix it for us. The wifi was generally very good, much better than we were expecting given cell coverage at Glacier. We also greatly appreciated having a full kitchen given how many restaurants continued to have limited staffing options this summer. Our only complaint was that the pool and jacuzzi could have been cleaner, but again, pandemic. While KOA wouldn't be the first place I thought of as we put together our trip, we had a good stay and would happily come back.

Deluxe Cabin at Great location but Small

We stayed in a "Deluxe" cabin six nights. There are few options on the East side of the park, and this one is located minutes from the St. Mary entrance. The cabin is fairly new and in excellent condition. Everything worked. Although it is correctly advertised as 2 bdrms and 1 1/2 baths, I was surprised how small it was. The cabin is about the size of a large motor home. There was a small area to hang up clothes in each bedroom, but no drawers or space in which to put them. There is a sofa bed in the kitchen, but I am glad we only had 4 people, or it would have been really cramped. The kitchen includes a full-size refrigerator, two burners, and a microwave--no oven, and small table. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, dishes, paper towels etc. and even a T.V. The bathroom was supplied similarly to what you get at a hotel. Although there is a convenience-type grocery store close by, choices there are VERY limited. The closest supermarket is in Browning--about 40 miles away (but easy to combine with a trip to Two Medicine/East Glacier). The staff were friendly, and provided assistance very quickly whenever I had an issue--like needing more towels etc. The laundry center is 24/7, and has 12 washers and dryers. The outside pool and hot tub were both large.

One of the best campgrounds we have ever stayed at. Right outside the Going-To-The-Sun entrance to Glacier National Park with incredible views. It's also on a good sized lake with access to kayak rentals. We just took our chairs down to the lake for a getaway. Rv sites are well maintained. Staff very helpful and friendly.

Reservation System

Made a confirmed reservation today for 5 days. About 5 hours later I got an email stating they were worry I was not going. I did not cancel. Tried calling the 800 number and just got a recorded message. Could not leave a message due to mailbox. No one is checking the mailbox and answering issues. Must be not an issue now for them but this kind of service will hurt them in the future. Find another RV park because this one thinks they are the only game in town! Not a normal KOA campground that I have ever stayed at.
